I have always loved working with kids, I have many young cousins, so there have been many children around for as long as I can remember! I have my own car, and recently graduated high school as a valedictorian. During high school I was given an opportunity to be in a kindergarten classroom, where I learned just how much I love working with young children. I can cook and clean as needed, and have a pretty flexible schedule!

I have been babysitting the last 8 years with my 3 grandkids since I retired from my full time career. I have a college degree, and have extensive kid experience! I love legos, reading, baking, outside activities, chalk, paint, Sesame Street and appropriate kids shows. I have volunteered a number of years at our church nursery. Experience: I’d typically have lots of experience working with children. I involve knowing how to care for kids of various ages, keeping them entertained, and ensuring their safety. Skills & Training: For babysitting, training would include things like CPR and first aid, child development knowledge, communication skills, and patience. Being able to engage kids in creative, educational play would also be important.

I have always loved working with kids! When I was six my twin little sisters were born and I was always eager to help with whatever they needed. I began babysitting for friends and family when I was 13 and have done that off and on for the last 5 years. Last may I began working at a daycare to further my childcare experience, but now I would like to be in an environment where I can focus on a smaller group of children where I can ensure they all receive the love and attention they need.
