I have been babysitting the last 8 years with my 3 grandkids since I retired from my full time career. I have a college degree, and have extensive kid experience! I love legos, reading, baking, outside activities, chalk, paint, Sesame Street and appropriate kids shows. I have volunteered a number of years at our church nursery. I have a dog, but usually have at least 2🤪So very comfortable with pets! Most happy to provide references. I have written approved background check with other site to provide.

I have always loved working with kids, I have many young cousins, so there have been many children around for as long as I can remember! I have my own car, and recently graduated high school as a valedictorian. During high school I was given an opportunity to be in a kindergarten classroom, where I learned just how much I love working with young children. I can cook and clean as needed, and have a pretty flexible schedule!

Hi I’m Shelby! I’ve been working in childcare on and off for 7 years. I started off working at an extended school care working with ages 5-14. I then became a lead toddler teacher at La Petite Academy and then went to a small Christian daycare working in all the classrooms and then became an early preschool teacher. I have four nephews and one niece with another one on the way all under the age of six that I have been around and watched since they were born. I have done a nanny gig which included picking them up from school, making sure they understand their homework, making sure they’re fed and entertaining them. I have also done a few babysitting gigs off of Facebook. I am CPR certified and Safety certified my background being a sheet metal apprentice has taught me how to be observant, work in a structured environment, and problem-solve. I've also worked as a lifeguard, where staying calm, being attentive, and responding quickly when needed were really important. In addition, l've always been around toddlers and young children growing up, so l'm very comfortable working with kids.

I have always loved working with kids! When I was six my twin little sisters were born and I was always eager to help with whatever they needed. I began babysitting for friends and family when I was 13 and have done that off and on for the last 5 years. Last may I began working at a daycare to further my childcare experience, but now I would like to be in an environment where I can focus on a smaller group of children where I can ensure they all receive the love and attention they need.
