Hi Mommas and Dados! Thank you for taking a look at my profile :) Working with children has always been a passion of mine. I have worked as a swimming coach, caregiver in daycares, a nanny, a mental health specialist and a child mental health therapist. I love helping children navigate this world in a peaceful environment so they may find their unique path. I am also pursuing a business in reiki to help people heal their body, mind, and spirit.

Hi! Are you looking for a mature, responsible, fun-loving, and innovative caretaker? If so, then keep reading! I am a stay-at-home mom who lives in the Hebron, KY area. In my past professional life, I was a high school English and Humanities teacher, and I taught for 6 years in the Jefferson County School system before moving to Hebron in 2008. Childcare however, has always been a passion of mine as I absolutely love kids and spending time with them. I am passionate about spending as much time as possible outdoors (my family loves camping and hiking), with plenty of time for reading, imaginative play, arts and crafts and eating healthy. Currently, I am looking for a part-time position with one family, ideally only 1-2 days a week, where I would provide care in your home, between the hours of approximately 9:00 - 2:30 with some additional flexibility on Fridays. I have three amazing boys of my own, ages 13, 10 1/2 and 8 who will all be attending school full-time at Xavier Montessori in Cincinnati this fall after a year and a half of homeschooling. In relation to childcare I have: ~ Over 20 years of exceptional experience with all ages (newborn-teenager) in various settings (day-care worker/pre-school teacher, babysitter, mother's helper, full-time/part-time nanny, tutor, and high school teacher) ~ Excellent references (only available after I interview with you to protect the privacy and time of my previous employers) ~ Reliable, safe transportation (2019 VW Passat) ~ Background check ~ CPR certified/First-aid Certified ~ Non-smoker ~ No allergies (animals or otherwise) In addition, I am vaccinated and I will wear a mask when warranted. (I understand everyone’s freedom of choice, however my oldest son is immunocompromised, so I am only looking to work in a household where the adults are vaccinated and mask-wearing is supported). I have an extensive resume available to you upon request.

Hello all, my name is Sydney and I am currently a college sophomore. I am looking for a summer sitting position for the months of May through early August. I have worked with children since highschool, and I truly enjoy being able to create an energetic and safe environment with children! I am able to offer tutoring/educational experiences as well as cleaning and maintenance throughout the day. I have been employed at summer camps and after school programs previously, so I have many activities in mind to keep children engaged through the summer. I am also able to drive, so I am willing to take children out for activities or complete drop-off/ pick up. Please reach out if you have any questions!

In addition to an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood, I have fourteen years of childcare experience. The first four as an infant teacher, and the remaining as private nanny. The bulk of my experience is with infants and I am always up to date on the safest and most effective feeding and sleeping practices. I'm a big believer in having a schedule and a routine, as well as enhancing every moment as a teachable moment, and making sure children are consistently engaged and stimulated.

My name is Dakota, and I grew up in a small town in New Hampshire, near Boston. I’ve been working with children since the day I could remember. I’ve always loved the joy children give when they get so excited. In 2023 I moved to Florida to cut the long distance with my husband and be closer to him and even closer to the family I had down there. I loved going to the beach and having the warm weather every day, but soon realized that’s not where I want to raise my future family. We decided to come closer to his family who is from Northern Kentucky, but still have that city feel. I’m excited where this new adventure will take us. I started my childcare journey as a “babysitter” at my local church in New Hampshire. When I was 13(ages 1-5). I then volunteered (not getting paid) at an elementary school for an after-school program for a year. I got hired to work all throughout high school (14-18). ages (5-12). After I graduated high school, I was working at a preschool as the 1-year-old teacher while taking classes to get my degree in Early Childhood Education. (on pause right now with classes but will be taking virtual classes in the future). I worked there for about 2 years then worked as a nanny for a 5-month-old. I was feeding, changing, putting down for naps and doing lots of activities. Then I moved to Florida and started working as a 2-year-old teacher at a private school, worked there for 5 months and decided nannying was what I wanted to do. I found a family and was with them for almost a year, she was five years old! I picked her up from school, bring her to actives she has for that day if she doesn’t have anything we’ll go to the park or do an activity if it’s nice outside! then go back home do some educational workbooks or a craft. cook dinner, do bath and put to bed! Now I have moved to Lexington Kentucky with my Husband to be closer to his family. I’m excited to see where this new adventure goes! I think what makes me a great babysitter/ nanny is that I’m always prepared for what’s to come. I’ve worked with every age possible in different settings. I’ve been in the classroom in public school, in a private school, daycares and being a nanny staying at someone’s house. I’m always ready for the next activity, I always have different activities and crafts planned out and ready to go!
