I believe that teaching kids as much as you can are very important especially at young age since they learn so quickly and easily. I’m Emily and I live in Southborough/Marlborough line, I have been an Infant/Toddler teacher at Bright Horizons and Nanny, on and off for the last 20 years. I love children. After becoming a caregiver to my mom who had AML & transplant, I was inspired to go back to school to purse my nursing degree. I graduated with my BSN RN in 2019 ( my previous undergrad is in psychology) . I currently take care of a 19 month old & a 7 year old, the prior family I worked for was with a set of twin boys. I started with them when they were 8weeks old, until 16 months old. I had to resign in 2018, when nursing school became extremely intense, requiring my full attention. Prior to nursing, my previous experience I was an Infant & toddler teacher at Bright Horizons for 6years, taking care of infants ages 6 weeks -15 months old. Bright horizons was a great center for infants. I was in charge of classroom of 7 infants that included creating a weekly curriculum for our babies while in our care, parent meetings every 3 months to review their portfolios, milestones, and new activities and exercises to incorporate day to day if needed.
