I am an experienced nanny, mother and grandmother who has been working with children since I was very young. I have also spent some years working at a day care before transitioning to working at homes. After years of working full time child care, I am looking for a more part time care position. I adore caring for children and am very comfortable with not just the care aspect, but in providing enrichment and learning activities.

I love learning and discovering each child's personality, likes, dislikes, interests, curiosity, eventually hobbies and passions. For me it's fun to engage with a child based on those unique qualities. I have extensive experience with infants, even twins, and I'm a former high school/middle school teacher, so I have experience with older kids, too. My education experience has made me especially adept at interesting kids in outdoor and non-screen activities. Both my grad and undergrad degrees were in English, and I've taught English, ESL (English as a Second Language), and Spanish. I enjoy tutoring and am willing to help children with homework if desired. Currently a Special Ed teaching assistant, I do have some experience with children with special needs though am not certified. I am willing to provide care for children with special needs when parents feel I'm a good fit for their child. The earliest experience would have to be baby sitting for all the neighborhood families. Next would include when I volunteered at a preschool/kindergarten as my clinical position. Following that would be my position at Lifetime Athletics (Westwood) where I worked in the kids Academy with ages three months- eleven years of age.
