I’m Emily and I live in Southborough/Marlborough line, I have been an Infant/Toddler teacher at Bright Horizons and Nanny, on and off for the last 20 years. I love children. After becoming a caregiver to my mom who had AML & transplant, I was inspired to go back to school to purse my nursing degree. I graduated with my BSN RN in 2019 ( my previous undergrad is in psychology) . Through my clinicals and preceptorship I have worked in a multitude of areas along with working as a labor & delivery nurse. Pediatrics & geriatrics are my favorite populations. I had to take a break from inpatient nursing to help care for family and started some private duty nursing along with child care. I just began taking on care again in addition to some private duty nursing I do. I am a BLS provider ( Basic Life Support, a step up from CPR for medical providers). I currently take care of a 19 month old & a 7 year old, the prior family I worked for was with a set of twin boys. I started with them when they were 8weeks old, until 16 months old. I had to resign in 2018, when nursing school became extremely intense, requiring my full attention. Prior to nursing, my previous experience I was an Infant & toddler teacher at Bright Horizons for 6years, taking care of infants ages 6 weeks -15 months old. Bright horizons was a great center for infants. I was in charge of classroom of 7 infants that included creating a weekly curriculum for our babies while in our care, parent meetings every 3 months to review their portfolios, milestones, and new activities and exercises to incorporate day to day if needed. I love working with children of all ages, especially infants. There is nothing like a baby to bring you back to everything that is so precious in life. My friends' who have had babies have all named me the official 'Baby whisperer' as I have a way with babies in particular. I am very close with my Family & fur babies. I love spending time with them more than anything. I love being active outside as well. I look forward to connecting with you and your family.

Hello, my name is Farrel Ekau. I am from Waianae, Hawaii, 24 years-old, recently graduated from the Air Force Academy with a degree in Biochemistry. I am now stationed at Hanscom Air Force base as an acquisitions officer. Growing up, I would always take care of my baby cousins and my culture required detailed care. Soon thereafter I found myself volunteering for disabled children as well as babysitting for families allover Hawaii, Colorado, and Florida. I love kids and want to make a positive impact on children, their education, and their overall view of life. I believe that life is short so love should be at the forefront of every interaction.

Hi! I'm Kylie Marshall, a rising senior at UMASS Boston. I am about be 22 and live in Sudbury, MA. My college courses are all virtual, which gives me a lot of flexibility for work! | Experience | - 9 years of babysitting/nannying (4 months - 12 yrs) - 3 summers of camp counseling (4 yrs - 15 yrs) - 7 years of lifeguarding (all ages) - 7 years of swim instructing (3 months - 15 yrs) - 5 years as a team swimming coach (6 yrs -16 yrs). - Most recently, I was a long-term nanny (15 months employment) for two children ages 3 and 6. | Certification | - First Aid - AED - CPR - Lifeguarding - Water Safety Instruction - EMT License in progress | Approach to Childcare | My greatest strength in this line of work is being able to make anything fun. I have a ton of energy, especially for things like going outside, running around, and playing imaginative games. I also like to make space for creativity and expression with art, crafts, and music. Nourishing a child's free spirit is especially important to me. I like to support and teach where I can while also making sure to leave room for independence and exploration. Helping kids establish their autonomy and learn to set boundaries is important to me. I encourage a gentle and kind attitude toward the self and others. My goal is always to find a way to make every day memorable, and to connect with the kids I work with in a way that fosters genuine trust and love. It is an honor to get to be one of their grown ups and to watch them grow into who they are! I am excited to find a family that I can work with long-term and form genuine connections with!

I really enjoy kids! They are naturally authentic and interested in the world. I studied Math and Education in college, and got teaching experience in classrooms ranging from kindergarten to high school. I got certified to teach secondary math, and went on to do a year of Americorps service after college. I moved to Boston in 2007 and began babysitting until I figured out what was next. I enjoyed what I was doing so much that I went on to become a full time nanny the following year. I worked for three years for a family with three children- ages 2, 5, and 7 when I started. After the youngest was off to kindergarten, I took a new position, a nanny share caring for two 2-year old girls. I’ve also babysat for multiple families over the years ranging from overnights with infant twins to school vacation help for 12-year olds. I taught the preschool class at my church for 5 years as well. In October 2012, I had a daughter of my own! I began bringing her along to babysitting/ nanny positions, which worked out quite well. In 2019, after working as a nanny/ babysitter for 12 years, I transitioned to teaching. I worked as an assistant in a combined Pre-K/Kindergarten class for four years before becoming the lead teacher of a separate Pre-K class. I had another daughter in January 2024 and am currently exploring the possibility of a babysitting position where I can bring my 1-year old daughter along.

Hello there, I am an experienced and educated childcare provider who has over 14 years of hands-on experience and a genuine love of children and their development. I have worked with children from birth through 17 years of age in various roles, but primarily in-home - providing support to the family unit and focusing on developmental support. I am college educated in Early Education, with a minor in special education that allows me the knowledge and experience to provide added support in the reaching of milestones and/or special challenges if they arise or become an area of concern. I have experience working with Early Intervention and can assist with Speech or Occupational concerns as well as ABA and sensory seeking behavioral supports with or without guidance. I hold current CPR and First Aid certifications, as well as various allergy training certifications and a complex pediatric Diabetes training completion through the Joslin center in Boston. A clean background check, clear driving record and reputable references are available upon request. With my childcare services you can expect my willingness to commit to household management as well as pet care and to provide the absolute best and thorough attention to your bundles of joy as if they were my own.
