Are you looking for an occasional sitter? A summertime sitter? I’m a full time art teacher during the school year. I’m seeking occasional sitting positions and summer time sitting positions. Perhaps you need a date night or just need an occasional night out. I have CPR, first aid and epi pen training. I have raised my son who is 20 and a very mature young man. I also raised 2 step daughters who are now adults with children of their own. I had been a lifeguard when I was 16, of course all that training is expired, but I feel that those life experiences stay with you. I look forward to hearing from you. I am vaccinated for Covid-19

We met Sandie at the beginning of the pandemic through Dumpling, which is a personal shopping app. She was our food shopping angel during Covid and 2 years later not only does she still shop for us, but we have her occasionally babysit our 4 year old who loves Sandie! Flexible, thorough, and just all around a nice person.

Sara has been such an amazing addition to our family over the last year. She has cared for our infant daughter who adores her. She helped us navigate our daughters changing needs, teething, sleep schedules, and more. She is incredibly proactive and jumps in to help out whenever needed which has been such a huge help. She has also been so flexible with all of the changes throughout the pandemic which made navigating the unique work and school changes much easier! We are so sad to no longer have her with us but we know she will be able to provide amazing care for another family!

Mirtha was great from the start. She responded very timely to questions and provided trusted references. Mirtha arrived on time even with bad traffic, was very polite, and was flexible as we were a little late returning home. Most importantly, my daughter enjoyed her time with her. I highly recommend hiring Mirtha.

Alex was super professional from our first conversation on. She made the process really easy and asked great questions that assured me she would keep our toddler safe. Alex did great with bedtime even though our daughter is still working on independent sleep and needed some support. We got cute pictures throughout the night, too!

Hi! I'm Kylie Marshall, I am a senior at UMASS Boston. I am 22 and live in Sudbury, MA. My college courses are all virtual, which gives me a lot of flexibility for work! | Experience | - 9 years of babysitting/nannying (2 months - 12 yrs) - 3 summers of camp counseling (4 yrs - 15 yrs) - 7 years of lifeguarding (all ages) - 7 years of swim instructing (3 months - 15 yrs) - 5 years as a team swimming coach (6 yrs -16 yrs). - Most recently, My most recent employment has been working with a 2 month old, 1.5 year old, and a 4 year old girls as their nanny! | Certification | - First Aid - AED - CPR - Lifeguarding - Water Safety Instruction - EMT License in progress | Approach to Childcare | My greatest strength in this line of work is being able to make anything fun. I have a ton of energy, especially for things like going outside, running around, and playing imaginative games. I also like to make space for creativity and expression with art, crafts, and music. Nourishing a child's free spirit is especially important to me. I like to support and teach where I can while also making sure to leave room for independence and exploration. Helping kids establish their autonomy and learn to set boundaries is important to me. I encourage a gentle and kind attitude toward the self and others. My goal is always to find a way to make every day memorable, and to connect with the kids I work with in a way that fosters genuine trust and love. It is an honor to get to be one of their grown ups and to watch them grow into who they are! I am excited to find a family that I can work with long-term and form genuine connections with!

Joan babysat for my 5 and 2 year old recently. I could tell that the safety and comfort of the kids is a priority for her. Joan is also very reliable; I got the impression that she is the type who always shows up on time and keeps her commitments. I've had a couple experiences in the past where a babysitter is happy to show up if it is rainy or cold outside but as soon as the weather is nice, they text you and say they have a family matter. I'm confident that you won't have to worry about this with Joan; she even showed up on a holiday weekend when it was sunny and in the 80's. If you are looking for someone more mature who will not be texting her friends, inviting people over, etc while she is watching the kids, then I would highly recommend getting in touch with Joan.

Now as I find myself retired, I am now hoping to find a kind and caring family who will appreciate my knowledge and experience as I navigate a new line of work, caring for children. I have an innate motherly instinct that is always on que, and know how to foster a nurturing environment that will allow your child/ children to grow and develop at their own pace all the while having fun but of course! There is no task to small or too large I am certain can be accomplished each and everyday, from light house keeping, to driving, or cooking or anything in between. Please circle back to me if you think we could be a possible match. In addition feel free to ask any questions and I will be happy to answer them for you. A minimum of three hours is required per visit.

Jessica really helped me out with child care in a pinch! She responded immediately, was extremely communicative and great with my twin 11 year olds and 8 year old. It was a really hectic day and she was able to roll with the punches and step right in. Will definitely use her again!

Helping cultivate children's development, growth, and building their interests and personality is priority. Instilling confidence, self-awareness, and sense of safety and love are vital. I mold my teaching style to each family and child's needs to provide the best learning environment for them. Every child and family have different needs and goals which I work with as a unit, it takes a village right! I have experience with at home private care, as well as center-based care. I have worked a Bright Horizons for most of my center-based carrier, though the Rock and Roll Daycare was my favorite school to teach at which was music based. I love music, art, and culture. I love to play all kinds of music and read books with different cultures, growing an early understanding that it is a big world with so many different cultures and people is something to start off early with I believe.

Alli has been an absolute godsend to our family. When my husband and I moved to Concord at the tail end of the COVID pandemic, we were overwhelmed with the challenge of finding reliable childcare. I had just returned to work after maternity leave with our second child, and Alli was able to step in seamlessly from day one. It quickly became clear that Alli’s superpower is working with children. Our two-year-old son and three-month-old daughter connected with her immediately. She handled early challenges—like our daughter refusing bottles—with calm confidence and patience, all while navigating a full-time, work-from-home household. Remarkably, our daughter began taking bottles on Alli’s very first day. Over the past four years, Alli has truly become part of our family. She has supported our children through every stage of their development with thoughtfulness and care. From managing nap schedules (and sleep regressions) to guiding potty training, school pickups and drop-offs, and helping build early reading and math skills, Alli approaches every aspect of her role with intention. She consistently creates engaging, age-appropriate activities and makes it a priority to get the kids outside and active in all seasons. She is more than just a caretaker; she is a teacher and friend. What sets Alli apart most is her deep commitment to the children in her care. Our son has severe food allergies, and Alli has always been exceptionally diligent—carefully managing his meals and ensuring his EpiPen is always on hand. She is a fierce advocate for our children’s safety and well-being, and we have complete trust and peace of mind when they are with her. As our youngest begins school, we are sadly transitioning away from full-time care. We cannot recommend Alli highly enough—she brings warmth, reliability, and a rare level of dedication that will be deeply missed by our family.

I have been a caregiver for over 10 years. I tried a few different jobs during my early twenties and found caregiving kind of by accident but have loved ever second of it. I love how everyday is different and exciting, and working with kids is so much fun. I mean who wouldn't want to go to work and laugh everyday. I try to keep things interesting for the kids I'm working with as well, by trying to get out of the house and do fun activities or even try to find fun games to play around the house. I have worked with a wide range of clients from brand new newborns to older children as well as a few jobs with the elderly. I am a hard worker who is always willing to go the extra mile for my clients, I believe that I'm there to help make the parents lives a little less stressful so I'm always willing to lend a hand with housework or errands, driving from place to place for pick ups/drop offs.
