Hi my name is Dominiqué. I am a graduate of Penn's Graduate School of Education, with a Master's degree in Early Elementary Education. I currently am an educator in the DMV so my schedule may be limited. I have all my clearances. I have been CPR trained. I worked in my mother's daycare from the age of 9 to the age of 22. I have worked as an instructor at a summer program and have nine years of formal teaching experience, so I am comfortable with larger groups of children and I am able to connect with each individual child. I am comfortable and experienced working with children of all ages but my preference is to work with children 16 and under.

Dominique was on time, reliable, and did an excellent job watching our two kids (including our very emotional 4-year-old) while we were at a nearby wedding. We would definitely work with her again if ever back in the area!

I am a mother of two teenage boys, so have been parenting for about 15 years. Prior to becoming a mother, I was a nanny for many years while in college and graduate school and a babysitter while in middle and high school. I have CPR and 1St Aid Certifications and am highly experienced with dealing with any issues that may arise while caring for infants, young children, tweens and teens. I love supporting kids to play and learn from experiences (games, crafts, sports) but am also ready to support homework and school assignments. I am comfortable with all kinds of pets and happy to feed them or take them for walks. I take family rules seriously and will work with the children to make sure that tasks and chores are completed when required.

My kids loved Jennifer and ask for her to come back often! She not only was wonderful with the children, playing games througout the day, taking them on field trips and reading them stories. She also organized the kids bedroom without being asked! If I could give 10 stars I would!

As a teenager and babysitter I knew I wanted to work with children but as a pediatric doctor, But once I took Child development classes and parenting it really opened my eyes to another interest and that was being a early childhood education teacher. taking these classes I learned a lot about a parent perspective and childcare teachers as well in certain situations also along with being a teacher studying the different methods and also hands on experience on writing lesson plans and actually interacting with the children. By my senior year I did an internship at a child care facility to experience how a center is ran and the interaction with the children and teachers. After I graduated I worked for Kindercare Learning Center over a year, Children Of America almost 3 years, and a privately owned daycare for over a year before I recently decided to help local families who need care for their children.

Hi! I have always loved working with children as it is one of my passions. I am patient, caring, and sympathetic. I am also a lot of fun! I am fluent in French and I love to teach it to younger kids. I have several years of experience in childcare as I worked at a day care center over a few summers, and I have also volunteered at many childcare centers. I am the oldest of 3 sisters which has taught me a lot about what it means to care for others. So if you're looking for a trustworthy sitter that will care for your child, look no further!

Hello! I am a student at Northern Virginia Community College pursuing a nursing track. My hopes are to later become a nurse midwife. Before Covid-19, I was a preschool teacher but I am currently looking to provide more individualized work. My experience ranges from daycare, gym child watch, individual babysitting, and summer camps. With that being said, I'm able to provide many references! I am infant/child first-aid and CPR certified. In addition, I am a birth and postpartum Doula who can help with overnights . I'd love to be able to work with families looking for a last-minute baby sitter or a date-night sitter. I'm also available to do school pick-ups and drop-offs! ! I love planning activities with the kids such as cookie decorating, movie nights, sensory play etc. I'm flexible with rates and take into consideration the needs of each family. My goal is to insure that children actually have fun while the parents are away. I look forward to working with children of all ages and backgrounds!

Hi families! I’m Victoria, a BLS/CPR-certified nursing student currently earning my RN, with the goal of becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Nursing is my third degree—I also hold a B.S. in Biology and a Master’s in Public Health from Columbia University. I have 3 years of paid childcare experience and over 10 years of experience working with children in educational and community settings. My childcare experience includes working in a daycare, teaching 3rd-grade science, and tutoring children of different ages. I’ve always loved creating an environment where children feel safe, comfortable, and excited to learn. I enjoy reading, arts and crafts, outdoor activities, educational games, science experiments, homework help, and finding creative, screen-free ways to have fun. While earning my master’s in New York City, I developed an even greater appreciation for child development and the importance of positive, supportive relationships during childhood. That experience helped inspire my decision to pursue pediatric nursing and dedicate my career to caring for children and families. As a sitter, I’m kind, patient, attentive, dependable, and safety-conscious. I’m comfortable balancing fun with routines and boundaries while making sure children feel heard, encouraged, and cared for. I’m also happy to provide tutoring or additional educational support when needed. I have reliable transportation and drive a newer Volvo XC40, which I chose with safety in mind. I also understand that every family’s schedule is different, so I offer flexible availability, including early mornings, daytime care, evenings, and late nights. Whether you need regular support, help around your work or school schedule, or a dependable sitter for date nights, I’d love to be someone your family can count on!
