Hi! I'm Abby, a caring, responsible, and patient sitter currently based in Frederick, Maryland. I'm 23 years old and recently completed my B.A. in Psychology at the University of Maryland–Baltimore County with a minor in dance. I have a strong background in childcare, including hands-on experience through a paid internship as a behavior technician with Advancing Beyond the Spectrum, where I worked closely with nonverbal children with autism using ABA therapy techniques. I recently completed interning at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children headquarters located in Alexandria to help support their mission of keeping children safe. I plan to pursue a Masters in Social Work in 2027 and seek a long term nannying/family assistant position. Working with kids brings me so much joy, it allows me to connect with my inner child, and I truly value the trust families place in me. I'm always ready to meet new challenges with a positive attitude and an open mind. In addition to childcare, I'm also happy to help with pets, I'm an animal lover too! Whether you're looking for someone dependable for occasional sitting or more regular support, I’d love to be part of your family's care team.

Hi! I'm Elsa and I'm a 25 year old Certified Nursing Assistant / Certified Patient Care Technician. I am also CPR and First Aid certified. I grew up in a big family so my experience with babysitting began in my own home and with close family. Over the years I have worked with many families with all kinds of backgrounds. I have been a babysitter, dog walker, tutor and mother's helper. I have experience in working with children that range from a toddler to teenager. With that being said, I love being around kids, babies and pets! I have also been a camp counselor, and a Montessori school teacher's assistant in the past. I work at Johns Hopkins which consists of working in every unit in the hospital with the main ones being Pediatrics and Psych. I'm an energetic responsible individual who goes out my way to provide a fun, safe/clean, and stimulating environment for children. My outgoing personality and background with arts helps me connect with the imaginative and creative sides that all children have. I’m starting school again therefore I look forward to go back to being a babysitter/nanny again. I hope to speak soon :)!

She is incredibly reliable, and my kids (3 and 5) love her! She babysits every Sunday morning, and takes the kids to the park and the library. She is the only babysitter that we trust to put our kids down for bed on time if she babysits at night because she’s exceptional at following routine.

Amy is a 10 out of 10 sitter. My sons felt immediately at ease with “Ms. Amy” who is calm and steady, but also fun and engaged. She took time to connect with my children, which was reassuring. She listened carefully during our interview, and her interactions with my sons were positive; they loved her. She provided references and her recent background check. Amy was professional, and asked solid questions to ensure her approach would align with my preferences for my sons. Will work with her again!

Hello, everyone! My name is Lisa, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to introduce myself as a sitter. I am not just your average sitter - I am a division 1 softball player and a student majoring in Applied Mathematics. One of the things that sets me apart is my love for being active. I believe in the power of physical activity and outdoor play for children's development, so you can count on me to engage your little ones in fun and stimulating activities. Whether it's playing catch, going for a bike ride, or simply running around in the park, I'll make sure your kids have a great time while staying active. Another passion of mine is sewing and embroidery. I find joy in creating unique and personalized items, so if your children are interested in learning some basic sewing skills or need help with a craft project, I'm here to lend a hand. Of course, I can't forget to mention my love for dogs. They bring so much joy and companionship, and I truly enjoy spending time with them. If you have a furry friend at home, rest assured that they will receive plenty of attention and love from me. What I love most about being a sitter is the opportunity to create meaningful bonds with children. I believe in fostering a safe and nurturing environment where kids can thrive and express themselves freely. Building trust and establishing a connection with each child is of utmost importance to me. Lastly, I want to assure you that I take safety seriously. I am CPR + First Aid certified, and I have received the COVID-19 vaccine and booster shots. Your children's well-being is my top priority, and I will do everything I can to ensure their safety and happiness while in my care. I am excited to meet your family and create wonderful memories together. Thank you for considering me as your sitter!

We had an outstanding experience with Lisa! We hired her through Sittercity to drive our teenager from school to the airport, and she was absolutely fantastic—reliable, professional, and incredibly communicative. Even though we never met her in person before the job, we reviewed her social media profile instead of conducting a formal interview, and she came across as a very trustworthy and grounded young lady. That impression turned out to be completely accurate. Lisa followed every detail of our text communication and task list without missing a beat. She even texted us when she left her house to pick him up, which was very reassuring. Throughout the drive, she kept us updated every step of the way—with ETA updates, notices about gas stops and quick personal pit stops, and check-ins when they were back on the road. Her proactive communication gave us complete peace of mind. She was punctual, respectful, and made our teen feel comfortable and safe. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely hire her again. Highly recommended!

We have enjoyed having Sherry serve as our nanny for our little daughter. She has a calm demeanor and my daughter quickly took a liking to her and felt comfortable in her presence. Sherry is very communicative and proactive in providing useful tips to assist with overall care of our baby and pointing out areas of concern for collaboration on what the best next step would be for our daughter. We truly appreciate having her as our nanny.

Belkis was punctual and right on task. She was available around a holiday, and on short notice. We needed her to entertain our young toddle for eight hours among a chaotic day, and she was up to the task. When we asked her near the end to please stay an additional hour, she was flexible and able to do so. Definitely would go with her again.
