After receiving my degree in Psychology, I found that I was most interested in learning about child development, early education, and family studies in my courses. Caring for families has further sparked my interest in these subjects - I have been babysitting since I was 14 years old, and love doing it as my current job! I have 8+ years of experience caring for over 15 families - this experience includes children of all different ages, from infants to pre-teens. I have volunteered as a helper or "companion" for a disabled child in the past for the Montgomery County Recreational Department. I have experience volunteering at elementary schools, working with children, and have been involved in philanthropic events for Children's Miracle Network Hospital. Also, I have been involved in other volunteer work in nursing homes and fundraisers for children's medical expenses and needs for their families.
