I love working with children, I have also worked at an elementary school in the guidance department, as well as nannied/babysat for several families for more than 10 years. I taught Sunday School at Saint Philip Neri parish from 1999-2009, ranging from 1st - 6th grades.  I have several years experience in a daycare setting.  My educational background is in psychology and human services. I have nannied for infants as young as 3 months, and the oldest child is now 15 years, who I care for occasionally on weekends. I am honest, reliable, and respectful.  I have several references available upon request. Unfortunately I have developed an allergy to dogs, and can not accept jobs that have dogs in the household. Other pets seem to be okay..

I am a student at Bowie State University! i love children and seeing them smile warms my heart. I love working with children because they make me feel safe and happy, i could be having the worst day ever and seeing a kid smile or laugh can make my day 10x better. I have worked in a daycare for about a year and a half on & off. I also babysit my siblings/cousins. As a teenager and babysitter I knew I wanted to work with children but as a pediatric doctor, But once I took Child development classes and parenting it really opened my eyes to another interest and that was being a early childhood education teacher. taking these classes I learned a lot about a parent perspective and childcare teachers as well in certain situations also along with being a teacher studying the different methods and also hands on experience on writing lesson plans and actually interacting with the children.
