Hi families! I’m Victoria, a BLS/CPR-certified nursing student currently earning my RN, with the goal of becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Nursing is my third degree—I also hold a B.S. in Biology and a Master’s in Public Health from Columbia University. I have 3 years of paid childcare experience and over 10 years of experience working with children in educational and community settings. My childcare experience includes working in a daycare, teaching 3rd-grade science, and tutoring children of different ages. I’ve always loved creating an environment where children feel safe, comfortable, and excited to learn. I enjoy reading, arts and crafts, outdoor activities, educational games, science experiments, homework help, and finding creative, screen-free ways to have fun. While earning my master’s in New York City, I developed an even greater appreciation for child development and the importance of positive, supportive relationships during childhood. That experience helped inspire my decision to Read more pursue pediatric nursing and dedicate my career to caring for children and families. As a sitter, I’m kind, patient, attentive, dependable, and safety-conscious. I’m comfortable balancing fun with routines and boundaries while making sure children feel heard, encouraged, and cared for. I’m also happy to provide tutoring or additional educational support when needed. I have reliable transportation and drive a newer Volvo XC40, which I chose with safety in mind. I also understand that every family’s schedule is different, so I offer flexible availability, including early mornings, daytime care, evenings, and late nights. Whether you need regular support, help around your work or school schedule, or a dependable sitter for date nights, I’d love to be someone your family can count on!
