Hi! My name is Christina. I love working with kids and have experience caring for children ages 1 to 9. I have the most hands-on experience with babies and toddlers. I was a caregiver for my twin cousins when they were 1 year old, providing about 25 hours of care per week for 8 months. They also have an elementary-aged child so I am comfortable and experienced in taking care of up to 3 children at a time. I’m currently looking for a part-time babysitting job in the mornings. I am available 7am- 2pm on weekdays, and all day on weekends. Right now, I nanny for a family on weekday afternoons (3-8pm), so this would be my second job. I’m a University of Maryland graduate and a former Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). I have also been CPR certified and am comfortable caring for children with special medical needs or disabilities. I am half Chinese and can speak Mandarin conversationally (I am not strong in reading and writing, but grew up speaking Chinese at home with my parents). In addition to general childcare, I can help with: -Academic tutoring (Math, English, history, etc.) - Light housekeeping - Bedtime/Bathtime routine - Meal Preparation - Driving to and from school or activities (I have my own car and 2 car seats suitable for children under 6) -Assisting with parties, playdates, or sleepovers I would describe myself as positive, reliable, and attentive. Some kids just need calm supervision after a long day, while others thrive on creative play, outdoor adventures, or educational games. I'm a mom and I love and enjoy the playful interactions with kids. Play with kids and have fun getting creative and invent games and activities is a great place to gain a kid trust.
