I have been babysitting since 2014 and nannying since 2018. I have also been subbing for the past three years and I recently graduated with a bachelors degree in elementary education. I am a travel nanny in the summer for a family based out of NYC and during the school year I am teaching currently. Summer of 2021, I was a part-time nanny for a 14 month old girl where I had many responsibilities including putting her down for her nap, feeding her, and entertaining her for the duration of our day. I have learned a lot about working with babies and toddlers on things like motor skills, developmental milestones, and emotional understanding. For older children, I have learned many strategies pertaining to supplemental learning inside and outside of the classroom. I love going on adventures and making the best out of any situations, so rain or shine I can guarantee we will have a lot of fun!

We were visiting friends in Saco over the weekend and Amanda sat with our kids a couple of times. She was flexible (our times changed a few times), arrived on time, was a quick communicator, and most importantly, was totally unfazed by our rambunctious 5-year old. I'd strongly recommend her and hope to have her sit for us again when we are back in Maine!

Hello, My name is Alexandra, I’m 51 a semi retired masters level social worker. I have about 30+ years of experience. focused jobs and be able to work with kids in a more organic way. I am known to be silly, conscientious, reliable and very compassionate. I truly enjoy being with kids of all ages and find it meaningful to help them experience the world in thoughtful, creative, playful and secure ways. I try to make things seem like an adventure and address conflicts as opportunities for growth. I am also very good with infants and have experience with sleep training. I see my job as being both a coach and a mama bear. If anything does arise I am extremely well trained, calm and focused in an emergency. I’ve been CPR and First Aid trained for over 30 years. As a parent and family social worker I have learned many effective behavior management techniques for kids ages birth to 100. I believe it's extremely important to provide each family the specific care they want and to honor the norms, needs and values of the household. The most important thing to know about me as a childcare provider is that I will take care of your children, pets and household the way you want me to. I believe taking responsibility for the well-being of any child means you always put them first. Choosing the right person to care for your child and trust them in your home is the most important decisions a person can make. I welcome any and all kinds of questions or requests and can make myself available for online interviews at your convenience. Thank you for your consideration. Sincerely, Alexandra Sagov MSW

I grew up in Illinois but recently moved out to Maine. I used to work for Presence Marketing as the National Senior Data Lead for 10 years but got laid off during COVID. Before moving out to Maine I completed my general education courses at Harper College in Illinois to graduate as a science major. My ultimate goal is to move forward and become an ultrasound technician. Looking back, my greatest achievement in high school was volunteering for a program called Best Buddies. We worked with students who had mental disabilities, and I personally worked one on one with a student who was mute. In the end, I believe he taught me more in those 3 years than I could ever teach him. I’ve been babysitting on and off for about 12 years, but my favorite experience by far was babysitting twins (a boy & a girl) for a little over a year and a half. When I first started the twins were only a couple of months old, so it was definitely a learning curve but extremely rewarding in the end. I grew very close with the family but unfortunately had to leave for my job opportunity. I’m CPR & first aid certified. If you have any questions or need references, please feel free to reach out!

I am a dedicated and passionate professional caregiver with 4.5 years of experience caring for youth in a Residential Placement Facility. I have a background in Social Work that has taught me the importance of creating an environment that fosters positive mental and emotional development in youth. Before my work in a group home, I spent several years as a nanny for three young children. I have experience with all age ranges and am comfortable with varying degrees of behavioral/developmental delays. I am certified in CPR/First Aid, Water Safety, Medication Administration, Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), and The MANDT System. These trainings have equipped me with the following (additional) skills: building trust and rapport, effective communication, active listening, understanding challenging behavior, crisis prevention/intervention, cultural competence, de-escalation techniques, conflict resolution, safety, post-crisis support, empowerment, meeting physical needs, sensory integration, understanding trauma, and positive behavioral support. I am currently working on my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and will be specializing in parental/family counseling. I have a clean driving record/criminal background check and a reliable vehicle with car insurance. I am comfortable with pets and houseplants and very clean/organized! Hi, my name is Ali Machinski and I have been working with children since I was a child myself. I grew up in a daycare and my love for kids began there. I’ve been a nanny for a family of three, worked 5 years as a counselor, sub teacher, and many other tasks within that position as well as running an infant classroom. Infants personally have my heart and I am a college student who is on the nursing track to become a postpartum/labor and delivery nurse.

I am a fun, creative and nurturing person. I strongly believe in the power of play, as well as reading to children. I have been a nanny for several families and have babysat for numerous families. I am a special education ed. tech and BHP. Since I received my associates in Early Childhood Education and my bachelors in Early Childhood Administration. I have worked in several preschools as a Lead and Assistant Teacher. I have been BHP supervisor and trainer for over 5years.
