Hi!!! To tell you a little bit more about me... I attended Northwestern University and worked for four years post graduation. I recently moved back to Michigan from California (where I was working) to study for the gmat in order to apply to business school as well as taking a year long nutrition course. When I was a sophomore in high school I took my first babysitting job, taking care of an 8-month-old baby boy and a 2-year-old little girl. I babysat for this family for a little over two years. The baby boy had postpartum so I worked closely with the mom to help accommodate all of his needs and make the transition as smooth as possible. In college I babysat for another family that had a 4-month-old baby girl and a 3-year-old girl. I sat for this family part time for around a year and a half, including Read more some full weekends when the parents had functions or were out of town. Currently I am nannying part time for a family of four! There is a 2 year old boy, a 7 year old boy, a 10 year old girl, and a 12 year old girl. Most of my time is spent with the 2 year old and the 10 year old. The 10 year old has special needs (she is hearing impaired and has cerebral palsy) so she requires some extra TLC! During my experiences with these families, I have been able to work with the children on potty training, reading, and most importantly playing!
