I am a mother of two boys, ages four and two. I have worked as a nurse the last 8 years for spectrum health burn unit and metro health emergancy department, hospitals up until this past October, when my husband accepted a job here in branch managing a camel farm. At that point we decided for me to become a stay at home mom :) I am certified in BLS ( basic life support, which includes CPR, and first aid). I try my best to have my kids play outside and away from electronics as much as possible. Fresh air and exercise is great! I love interacting with kids, I am the fun aunt with my nieces and nephews, I am always open for a playing on the slides and drawing chalk. And yes I even attempt to play a game of horse in basketball. Each day I do set Read more time aside to read to my kids, and color or another activity. On rainy days we usually are fort making in the living room watching the greatest Disney movies! We have a fenced in front yard with a playset and sand box. And on hot summer days the car creek runs through our back yard. ( I am pretty strict when it comes to the creek, it is only 6 inches deep at the very most in the deep spots. But i take no risks) camels do live on our property in the barn and are very friendly, but kids are not allowed in the barn without an adult with them, again i can be a bit over protective. But safety is best.
