I am a outgoing, caring, and fun person. I enjoy cycling, swimming, and fishing. I am a certified nursing assistant. I am a trained medication aide, CPR/ AED infant/child certified, first aid infant/child certified. I worked for 10 years in the healthcare field at nursing homes, assisted living, healthcare clinic, and in home care. I have worked with children for 6 plus years. I have worked with special need children for 4 years as well. I provide childcare out of my home. I provide a fun, educational, and tidy atmosphere. I love working with children, playing games, going to parks, and teaching children about the world around them. I also have experience with monterssori teaching. I just became a first time mother to a beautiful 5 month old girl. She is easygoing and a smiley baby that loves to learn. I love babysitting because I think it is great training for when I have kids some day and because not only do the kids learn more, but so do I! I am experienced with babysitting ages 1-6 but am open to older. I also am involved in working with kids at my church. I have skills in cooking for the kids and always making sure they know their ideas and imaginations are awesome!

I am currently attending community college with an end goal of becoming a pediatric nurse. I have worked with children in the past as an after school art teacher with classes of 5-15 children. I am new to professional child care and I am still learning but I do have a BLS(CPR and EAD) certification. Hello my name is Dakota, I am 21 years old. I pursued a degree in Laser & Medical Advanced Esthetics! I currently work full-time at a treatment facility, working with clients who are recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. I am CPR & First Aid Certified. I am also trained on MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment). other work experience comes from roles as Special Education Assistant (EA) in a school district, DSP, Dental Assistant, and Personal Grocery Shopper. I have 5+ years experience working with children! My past experience includes taking Early Childhood Education and Childhood Development. those classes gave me the opportunity to work in a preschool for 3.5 months and study all stages of development on 1 child along with hosting groups, activities, games, etc. those classes did also give me college credits as well :) I am one of eleven kids which has given me responsibilities of caring for my younger siblings. My siblings and I range oldest 24 years old to 6 months old and I’m towards the top of the tree! I have also been in roles of not only being a big sister, but caring for my grandparents, occasional babysitting for family members, friends and animal care taking as well! Professional experience took place in healthcare which exceeded my understanding and expectations for myself on HIPAA, communication, organization skills, cross-contamination, attention to detail, medication management, active listening and patient care. One goal that I would love to achieve is opening my own business as a Laser Technician, and a dream of mine is to one day travel to Skaithos, Greece!

I have 4 years of childcare experience. I started as a nanny for a 4 month old infant and stayed with that family for about a year and a half. After that I started working at a licensed childcare facility where I have been until recently. I started as an aid and soon realized that I thrived in the infant room, working with infants ages 6 weeks to 16 months. I shortly got assistant teacher certified and was the assistant infant teacher there for almost 2 years. Most of my experience is with infants but I do have some experience with toddler, preschool, and school age children.

I’m a college student at Wisconsin Madison living in Madison for the summer. I’ve been involved in sports for most of my life, so I really enjoy being outside and active. I’m also a textiles and fashion major and love to do crafts or drawing activities. I love working with kids as I’m an oldest sibling, and I enjoy the experience of getting to know them as a sitter and having fun together.
