Hi, my name is Reagan Gard and I’m a nanny with 5+ years of childcare experience. I have been a nanny for a family with a wonderful baby girl for the last year that is in the process of moving to the East Coast. I’m going with them for the first 6 weeks to help with the transition and will be back in Minnesota in October. During the last year we have worked on developmental milestones, sensory, gross and fine motor skills, cognitive skills with weekly themes (farm animals, foods, etc.), music, sign-language, language skills, basic Spanish, crafts / arts, sleep schedule, feeding schedule, introduction of new foods and various outings (conservatory, art museum, global market, zoo (pre-COVID), park, beach, pool, walks, (post COVID with social distancing). I’ve previously nannied for 3 years for a family with 3 very active children ranging in age from toddler to elementary school age. Read more I’ve handled everything from doctor appointments to school emergencies, as well as coordinating meals, snacks, homework, crafts / baking, chores, reinforcing good behavior, random spontaneous dance parties to outings to the park, lake, ice cream, movies, festivals etc. In addition to being a nanny, I’ve had experience working in various daycares in the infant and toddler rooms, while attending school. I’m also a Certified Nursing Assistant(CNA), as well as being CPR and first aid certified. I am currently taking my generals (online) for early childhood development / elementary education. I’m looking for a long term full time nanny position.
