I grew up with a much younger brother and participated in his care since his birth. I started babysitting outside of the home at the age 12, and have consistently been involved in the care of children through the years. In college, I started working with adults who were either developmentally or physically disabled. Additionally, I spent five years employed at a school that specializes in working with children diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum. I currently babysit most frequently for ages one through five, however I do work daily with children 7th grade to 12th grade. I am comfortable working with children of any age. I come from a pet-free house and I do not have any of my own children. My care-giving philosophy is based on love, patience and understanding of the child in my care. I believe children should be raised according to the philosophy of the parents, not my own. Changing expectations based on the care-giver only causes confusion for the child.

I am an energetic and caring person, I’m new to professional babysitting but I do have experience babysitting my cousins and family friends children! I babysit kids of all ages but most of my experience has been with the ages of 1-5 years old! I have a car and I am able to run errands for you! I am an experienced mom of four boys. I am also a Registered Nurse. I have spent the last 27 years working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Masonic Children’s Hospital. Growing up, my own mom had an in home daycare. I started babysitting when I was 10 years old.
