Hi, I am Parker and I have been working with children for over 5 years through a couple different areas including my church and a non profit preschool. In these groups I have been involved in both a lesson and friend role. Through these experiences I have gathered a good understanding of how to best communicate and successfully connect with kids in my care. I prefer a gentle and calm approach to all situations as this matches my personality. I strongly believe that patience mixed with showing a real care for a child is the best way to create the important bond that is needed when parents are away.

I love babysitting because I think it is great training for when I have kids some day and because not only do the kids learn more, but so do I! I think children’s learning skills and abilities are super important. I am experienced with babysitting ages 4 months-6years old but am open to older. I also am involved in working with kids at my church, and I have experience working professionally at a daycare with infants for the last 7 months. I’m in school full time throughout the week. So a family who would need evening care if you want a date night or need to run errands, or weekends would be perfect for me! I have skills in cooking for the kiddos, bottle making, nap/bedtime, playtime. I like to prioritize time away from screens unless we’re all watching something together because I think hands on learning is so important! I am also CPR and first aid certified. Hi, my name is Reagan Gard and I’m a nanny with 5+ years of childcare experience. I have been a nanny for a family with a wonderful baby girl for the last year that is in the process of moving to the East Coast. I’m going with them for the first 6 weeks to help with the transition and will be back in Minnesota in October. During the last year we have worked on developmental milestones, sensory, gross and fine motor skills, cognitive skills with weekly themes (farm animals, foods, etc.), music, sign-language, language skills, basic Spanish, crafts / arts, sleep schedule, feeding schedule, introduction of new foods and various outings (conservatory, art museum, global market, zoo (pre-COVID), park, beach, pool, walks, (post COVID with social distancing). I’ve previously nannied for 3 years for a family with 3 very active children ranging in age from toddler to elementary school age.
