I graduated from Saint Louis University with a B.S. in English and minor in Catholic Studies in the spring of 2024. I have worked as a nanny for two families whose children have ranged from 2 to 6.5 years of age. I have experience with potty training, maintaining routines, engaging kids in age appropriate activities, snack and lunch times, and buckling kids into front and rear facing car seats with 5-point harnesses. I work closely with families to ensure I follow their parenting style, discipline standards, and routine - communication is a vital element of my job. Outside of nannying, I have taught reading and phonics to students of all ages with disabilities at a tutoring center called Lindamood-Bell. I also have experience working as a substitute teacher. I love working with children, specifically students, because passing on knowledge is so fulfilling for me. Hi, my name is Sydney and I love working with children. I am currently a senior at Missouri Baptist University getting my Biomedical degree and Nursing degree. Once I graduate I will be working in pediatrics. I have always been great with kids and I can wait to work with them everyday while nursing. I have babysat since I was 14 and have never had a problem. I am a great listener, problem solver, and I’m very caring. I know CPR and have worked in a hospital for multiple years before, I have also coached soccer and volleyball. I have worked with kids on many different levels and have loved every minute of it.
