I have sat for a neighborhood couple who had a 5 month old son and a 1 yr old daughter, which were both left in my care on a continuous basis for about a year. I have 2 nieces, which I have sat for on a semi-continuous basis since they were newborns and they are now 13 and 14. I have also sat for a single mother whose 1 year old daughter I have cared for since she was a newborn. I have nannied for a couple who had a 2 year old boy and a 4 month old babygirl.
