I have had the opportunity to work with children in different environments for almost 6 years. For two years in high school, I was enrolled in the early childcare development program at the Career Development Center in Jackson. I worked at an all-girls summer enrichment camp for two consecutive Summers and the following Summer, I volunteered for the Tougaloo College Talent Search Program. In 2019, I began working for the Tougaloo College Upward Bound Program until May of this year. I've been able to interact with children of all ages and develop long-lasting relationships with them. I have a toddler aged nephew and a niece that's starting kindergarten that I have had been able to care as needed since their births. Taking care of children is a passion of mine and I hope to make a successful career with that passion. I have recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Read more in Psychology and I wish to obtain a Master's in Clinical Psychology in the future so that I can open a private practice focused on caring for the mental health and development of children.
