I became HRS (now Florida DCF) certified in high school many years ago in the OJT program and worked for three years as an assistant site director of the after school care program with Unique School Age Childcare and Noah's Ark nursery in the summer. I also volunteered each week with the ESE department children at West Pensacola Elementary in Florida. I am now employed full time in the Children and Family Services field in Buncombe County. I have worked in the children and family services field in North Carolina and Florida for the past 16 years. I have always enjoyed working with children and their families. :)

I absolutely adore connecting, caring for, and exploring with children! I am first aid and CPR certified. I have 4 years of experience with paid babysitting, as well as 15 years of experience watching kids of all ages (including infants) for family and friends. Last summer, I was a full time mountain bike lead camp counselor for 6-8 year olds, planning daily/weekly schedules and ensuring proper care in regard to heat index and food consumption. It was such a rewarding experience to watch the kids learn and grow confidence in their abilities while maintaining safety as a top priority! I have immense patience and meet children where they are. I am comfortable and have experience with animals of all sizes. I can cook, meal prep, clean, help with homework (I have a BA in Mathematics and Statistics and tutoring experience), handle appointments, and I have my own car with a good driving record. I love being creative and active as well! This includes designing engaging activities suited to the child's preferences. I'd love to be a great addition to your family's resources :)

Hey there! I’m Virginia, and I’m a recent college graduate who relocated to Asheville in August 2022. I have twelve years of babysitting experience under my belt, as I’ve been an active childcare provider for families in my neighborhood and extended community since I was in middle school. I am a communicative, personable, and reliable sitter who brings creativity and energy to every nannying experience I pursue. My personal passions include reading, writing, playing guitar, watercoloring, collaging, cooking, and baking, which means I love to design hands-on, artistic activities with the children I care for. Additionally, I love being outdoors, hiking, biking, and enjoying nature, which means walks, playground time, and backyard fun are all favorite parts of my babysitting days. I look forward to meeting you and your family and can’t wait to learn more about your hopes and expectations for a caregiver!

Hi! My name is Anastasiia Korsun, and I’m 19 years old. I have a deep love for caring for babies and children of all ages. Being a sitter brings me so much joy because I get to help children feel safe, happy, and engaged while giving parents peace of mind. I have experience caring for babies and children of different ages, ensuring they are well looked after, entertained, and safe. I can prepare meals, do light house cleaning, take kids for walks, and always prioritize their well-being. I am very responsible, kind, and attentive to every child's needs. Plus, I speak five languages—English, Spanish, Ukrainian, Russian, and Polish—which allows me to communicate with many families easily. I look forward to meeting your family and providing loving, reliable care for your little ones! 😊

Anastasia took care of our two toddlers for nearly a week when we visited Asheville for a conference at a local resort. She was very sweet, gentle natured and caring and took excellent care of them. She followed all directions that we asked and the kids had a lot of fun in her care. Her sister also visited with the kids and helped her with some of their baths and bedtime. We were very lucky to find her!

Wonderful, kind, and very professional. Ms. Charolette got along very well with my two kids. Was an absolute joy to have. She was very flexible with hours and worked with me when I had an abrupt schedule change. Always early. Very good on communication. I would recommend Ms. Charolette to friends and family. I will be hiring her again.

Hi! I'm a professional nanny and babysitter with over 10 years of experience, and have worked with kids aged infant all the way up to school-aged. I've also been an assistant preschool teacher, camp counselor, and tutor. I genuinely enjoy working with kids, learning about their interests, and helping support families. As a sitter and nanny, I love doing arts and crafts, reading, playing outside, and exploring nature. I'm very crafty and creative in my own time, and love setting up fun projects for kids if they're open to it too. I'm familiar with nap and bedtime routines, meal and snack prep, diaper changing and potty training, and for infants, bottle/formula feeding, swaddling, and tummy time. I'm a Red Cross-certified babysitter and First Aid-certified as well. I have experience with light housekeeping, pet care, and managing schedules as well. I'm a non-smoker, fully vaccinated, and am a licensed driver with my own car and a clean driving record. I can provide references as well. I look forward to working with you and meeting your little ones!

I have been blessed with a lifetime of involvement with children. Having much older siblings, I was a child aunt. I have one son aged 33, plus helped raise a second child during his preschool years. I am a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant with training in childcare but not currently employed in healthcare. For the last 2 years I have been a nanny for 2 girls, now 4 months and 24 month. I work on Sundays at a church nursery and can't get enough of all aged children.

I've worked with kids in one way or another since 2008. My main reason for making myself available on this platform is to help parents of children with special needs find reliable, worry-free child care. Having worked in the Behavioral Therapy (ABA) world for over a decade, I know how hard it can be to find child care for a kiddo with atypical behaviors; and that it's against the rules for most companies who provide therapy services to also provide babysitting. My experience includes: Autism, ADHD, ODD, Down Syndrome, OCD, anxiety, dyslexia, dysgraphia, aggression, sensory processing, deaf/hearing impaired, learning disabilities, and children in need of general behavioral shaping. I am a Certified Behavior Technician, semi-fluent in ASL (American sing language), NC Early Educator Certified, and CPR/First Aid trained. I currently work with kids on the spectrum and I thought it would be nice to offer families some relief in the sense of knowing they can leave their, not disabled, but differently able, children with an experienced caregiver. It's a full time job to be a parent and I believe it is so important to be able to get away and TAKE A BREAK! If anyone has seen it all, it's me! If you think your child is too difficult to leave with someone, let me prove you wrong! Having gone into dozens of homes for home therapy, I am very comfortable doing so for babysitting as well. Children with special needs have my heart and I am a natural when it comes to caring for them in a therapeutic, creative way. *I have my own materials, reinforcers, fidgets, and a plethora of sensory satisfying toys. *My rates are high for a reason-but please reach out if needed. I can be flexible. 🙂 *I am open to babysitting typical functioning children. Reach out about rates. *I am open to referrals, if you see this and know of someone who could benefit from my experience, please don’t hesitate to link us!

I am a mom of two and work in a local charter school. I foster meaningful engagement and healthy child development. I have a genuine love for children and my greatest goal is to create healthy environments for children to thrive in. Over the past decade+, I have worked with various families in the Asheville area with children ages 1-15. Currently, I am babysitting on an as needed basis. I am also available to help the families I sit for in other ways with overnight sitting and house/pet sitting as needed. I feel comfortable with all age groups and I make a point to nurture sensory and other learning experiences in a fun way. I am also quite comfortable in dealing with the "not so pretty" moments - irritability, crying, diapers, etc. and have become accustomed to helping in other ways with light housework, cooking, tutoring, and whatever else might be helpful to the family. I have experience counseling youth with emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges as well and am highly sensitive to these needs as a sitter. I encourage outdoor and creative play, and I enjoy providing challenges that are both safe and rewarding. Ideally, I am looking for someone who is looking for an occasional babysitter for a weekend day or evening or for temporary assignments during the summer. I welcome multi-family sits or “mom-nanny” arrangements in support of socialization with either or both of my children (2 and 5) as well.
