I became HRS (now Florida DCF) certified in high school many years ago in the OJT program and worked for three years as an assistant site director of the after school care program with Unique School Age Childcare and Noah's Ark nursery in the summer. I also volunteered each week with the ESE department children at West Pensacola Elementary in Florida. I am now employed full time in the Children and Family Services field in Buncombe County. I have worked in the children and family services field in North Carolina and Florida for the past 16 years. I have always enjoyed working with children and their families. :)

I absolutely adore connecting, caring for, and exploring with children! I am first aid and CPR certified. I have been blessed with a lifetime of involvement with children. Having much older siblings, I was a child aunt. I have one son aged 33, plus helped raise a second child during his preschool years.
