Hello! My name is Nyla Holloway. I am an 2022 NCA&T Biology major alumnus. As well as I am a CNA (7years), Dental Assistant and 3x CPR certified. I love working with children of all ages. I have been babysitting, nannying and watching over children since 2014, as well as having numerous nieces and nephews. I have taken part in school programs for elementary and middle school students. I have been told that I'm the "best nanny ever" by the kids and parents I've worked with in the past. I first began childcare by volunteering at the church nursery when I was 12, and continued on into high school. I started occasionally babysitting for family and friends in high school. I enjoyed babysitting a lot more than my part-time job so I decided to pick up more hours. Since then, I have looked after children from age 6 mo-12 years old. I have helped many families in the area depending on their specific needs. I would love to find another nanny position long term on a part-time or full time basis. I am a nursing student at UNCG. I have worked with kids ages 3-18 as a dance and circus arts teacher for 3 years, and have infant care experience through family. I am very active at my school participating as an Executive Board member with my school’s Caribbean Student Union. Working with kids has been a real passion and joy for me, as someone who is young at heart. I love playing games like Tag, Hide n’ Seek, and Ships and Sailors. I am very crafty and love doing things like puzzles. I grew up playing a lot of sports like gymnastics, soccer, football, and dance, so I am very active! Hi! I’m Ashley, I’m 24 and I’m an aspiring pediatrician. The road to getting my MD has been long but working in childcare has been a powerful constant in my life.
