Hello, My name is Jayla White and I am 18 years old. I have my High school diploma and am currently taking college courses In ECE (early childhood education). I am interested in becoming a sitter to make a little side money and help out others as well also the experience could help in my career. I have had my experience babysitting with newborns and kids ages up to 11 years during summer jobs and getting paid to help family members. I may not have any certifications when It comes to babysitting but I am aware of what the job will require and how to manage it. I can cook, clean, help with transportation, schoolwork and assist with any other responsibilities but mostly I will ensure the children's safety and well-being by constantly supervising them and creating a safe environment.

I have worked in child care for 13 years so this is something that I have plenty of experience in. I have primarily worked with 2 year olds, but have also worked with all other age groups as well. My main focus with the children I work with is to show them the same love and affection that their parents will give as if they where home and it also makes the transition a lot easier for everyone. By me doing such a great job at work I have had outside baby sitting position that have lasted for years. I currently work at a daycare the pay is just not good enough with the bills that I have && the two kids that I have. I love working with kids I’ve been working in childcare for 2 years. I have training in helping the kids learn their basics such as abc’s, 123’s, colors and shapes, etc.

I wouldn’t consider myself an expert on children or babysitting. However I do babysit for my nieces and nephews. I also have costumer services skills which allows me to be friendly. I am also going to school to be a social worker.
