Angelica was an amazing nanny to our three month old baby girl and five year old boy. We were so sad to have to see her move from Texas as I know she will be missed by both of our kiddos. Being as both my husband and I are in the military, Angelica was truly understanding and available to help out with our kiddos. She was ALWAYS on time for the full four months, every single day without fail, which is invaluable nowadays. She is highly recommended for babies and kids of all ages. She is kind, caring and very patient.

My name is Cielo and I am a responsible, warm, energetic, and caring nanny. I have over five years of experience caring for children from infancy to school age. I am here to express my interest in supporting your family as a nanny/sitter either part-time or full-time, depending on your needs. I have worked with several families in Durham, Carrboro, and Chapel Hill, including nanny-sharing and short-term contracts, and I was previously a teacher's aide at a daycare center. These positions have provided me with strong skills in creating structured daily routines, supporting early development, preparing healthy meals, and managing child-related household tasks. I am also comfortable with pets and have experience caring for them during family trips. What families appreciate most about me is my calm and reliable nature and the way I genuinely connect with children. I pride myself on being a constant and caring presence in their lives. I understand the importance of trust and communication when working in someone's home, and I always strive to build strong and respectful relationships with both children and parents. I'd be happy to provide you with references. I'm also CPR-certified and qualified under the North Carolina Child Care Act.

Cielo is genuine and kind. She is a natural nurturer and my son loved spending time with her. I went through a tough postpartum with no family near by. Cielo was the only babysitter I had who was consistently reliable.

Hi! My name is Linn and I’m originally from Sweden. I came to Chapel Hill to work as an au pair and I did that for 2 years. I am now a student with a a lot of free time because some of my classes are online. Before I came to the United States I worked as a tennis coach for kids in the ages 4-7 so I’ve been working with kids for about 5 years. I like being outside and do activities like hiking, swimming and being at the beach/lake. This is things I’ve also done with kids I’ve been working with. I enjoy doing activities with the kids like going to museums, going out in nature or going to the zoo is always appreciated. My other babysitting experiences have been with kids ages 3-12. It’s been a lot of outdoor activities, help with meals, school work and driving around to different activities. With the older kids there has been a lot of minecraft playing and also outdoor activities.

Linn is fantastic! Reliable, adaptable, and firm but kind, she has been invaluable to our family as we’ve adapted to three under three. Our normally reticent toddler warmed up to her instantly! I would recommend Linn to a family in need of childcare without hesitation.

Hi everyone! ☀️ I’m a college music performance major looking for nannying or babysitting opportunities this summer while I take a community college class and stay with family. A little about my experience: • CPR & First Aid certified • Harp teacher • Former swim instructor • Tutored students in schoolwork • Experience working with children with special needs • Taught kindergarten & preschool at my church • Volunteered teaching an after-school program for 2nd graders at a public school •Over 7 years of babysitting/nannying experience I’ve babysat children of all ages — including newborns (as young as 2 months old), premature twins, and families with up to 5 children at a time. I’m very comfortable caring for infants alongside older siblings as well. I love being creative, planning fun activities, doing arts & crafts, spending time outside, and being playful and silly to make kids feel safe and happy. I’m also happy to help with light household tasks or running errands. I have multiple references available upon request.

Hi! My name is Riley, and I absolutely love caring for children. Being a sitter is incredibly rewarding because I enjoy helping little ones learn, grow, and have fun in a safe and nurturing environment. I am young, enthusiastic, energetic, and able to multitask while keeping children engaged, happy, and well cared for. I pride myself on being responsible, respectful, dependable, and educated. I have hands-on experience caring for newborns as well as toddlers ages 1–3 years old. In addition, I earned my Associate’s Degree in Anesthesia Technology and completed over 500 clinical hours working in healthcare settings, including pediatrics, heart surgery, and emergency situations. This experience has strengthened my ability to remain calm under pressure, pay close attention to detail, and prioritize safety at all times. For added peace of mind, I am fully vaccinated and certified in CPR, ACLS, and First Aid. I am also a huge animal lover and have had pets my entire life, so I am very comfortable caring for families with pets. Outside of work, I enjoy horseback riding and have been riding horses for over eight years, which has taught me patience, responsibility, and dedication. I would love the opportunity to provide a safe, caring, and positive environment for your children and become someone your family can trust and rely on.

Hi, my name is Kerri, I am a mother of 25 year old twins, and a 19 year old. Before having my own twins, i was a nanny for a family with twins. Since HS, I have babysat since I was 12. I have worked in Daycare settings also. Most of my experience is as a nanny. I just finished with a family of a preemie boy, started when he was 4 months old until age 2. From 2017 to 2021 I was a nanny for twin boys. I love to nurture and teach children something new everyday. I incorporate learning into everyday play. I think reading is very important, no matter how young. I taught all 3 of my children how to read before kindergarten. I am available M-F from 8:30-5:30, but am very flexible. I will be absolutely willing to help with laundry and housework. I love dogs and cats, so no problem with helping with feeding or outdoor time. I look forward to helping you with your child care needs.
