I have a college education in Early Childhood Education, A.S. degree in K–12 Edu. Specializing in special ed. & prev. professional experience as a daycare director at 2 locations.Ive also worked as a CNA tech for disabled children & elderly patients & then went on to do patient care (& phlebotomy) with UNC & DUKE hospital. I do hold updated BLS and CPR certifications I obtained in 2019.My background in hospital patient care work & all of the childcare I’ve done throughout life gave me ALOT of experience,but nothing beats what I’ve learned while being a MOTHER of 2, the sister of 4 boys!, having the position at my church of a primary/nursery class teacher & being the auntie of 14 kids under 15!! which has all given me the TRUE, realistic experience & knowledge of children’s developmental needs, how to encourage learning, how to create fun,engaging & educational activities, Read more and how to ultimately provide a safe, nurturing environment that feels like home! I also am EXTREMELY crafty & I would LOVE to introduce some fun, crafty art projects into the scene (if your children do desire so) I don’t mind if things get messy, I will certainly help clean where I can. I don’t mind running errands for you, picking up children from school or activities,or doing other things that require my vehicle/driving.(I do have a valid drivers license,car insurance & a vehicle) As both a mother and an “experienced” caregiver, I understand how important it is to find someone you can TRUST and feel SAFE with for your most precious little ones(or your ‘half grown’ TEEN ones who think they are grown lol) I really do strive to make every child feel safe, loved, heard, and supported -in whatever ways your children INDIVIDUALLY each need, while simultaneously giving the parents/family the peace of mind they NEED & would have, -just as if they were being cared for by a beloved family member. Whether your children need a helping hand with homework(I offer tutoring!), creative activities(my specialty🤩),simple cleaning like laundry or dishes or even organizing that messy toy closet!,playtime, meal times/meal prep,maintaining daily routines, or if you simply need someone patient&dependable bc you need a date night or even overnights, my house or yours I’m happy to help!My listing price is b/w 8-30$ an hr bc of my qualifications, but I’m MORE THAN HAPPY to negotiate a price with you,I’m fully aware people are struggling & I’m open to work w what you have !
