I have been caring for children in some capacity my entire adult life and decided to make it my career about 10 years ago because I wanted to make my own happiness my goal in life. And being around the infectious joy of children seemed like the perfect place to do that. I’ve worked as a nanny and also in a daycare classroom but far prefer private childcare setting. Daycare classrooms make it so hard to meet the needs of the individual. I maintain CPR and first AID certifications as well as safe sleep, SIDS and prevention of maltreatment of children. I believe in a gentle disciple approach and that children can be given firm boundaries and consistent correction without ever having to be hit or using harsh discipline. We learn through play in the environment around us. And I believe in building confidence in kids through letting them explore their own mistakes in a safe space, helping them learn through them. Our mantra is “messes happen! No big deal!” While we clean up and try again. I also grew up here in Moore County and am choosing to raise my own son here as well. He’s 10 years old now and going into the 5th grade this year. Can’t wait to get out there and explore all there is to being a kid in our beautiful Sandhills with your little one!

I've always loved babysitting. Yes kids can be loud and sometimes messy but they are learning and thats what we are here for. Babysitting can be challenging but it is also fun. I've never worked with kids professionally, but i have been working with kids since i was fifteen. Since the age of 15 i have been a sunday school teacher. Currently i am teaching 2 toddler of the age of 4 and 5, and they are both really energetic. For years i was teaching 6-10 year olds. Having kids of different ages can be challenging but it is a fun challenge. Not only do they learn but i also learn. I am currently enrolled in college and going for my associates in nursing. If God allows i plan on going for NICU nurse.
