I've been enjoying child care full time for the last 14 years. During this time I have cared for children ranging in age from 6 weeks-14 years old. Some on a full time basis, some part time or as needed for work/play, Date Nights and some overnights, as well. I'm an active caregiver in that I enjoy taking my kids on outings to places like the library for Story Time, the park for educational programs, nature walks, playground, community centers for open play, museums, play dates and more. I've always loved working with kids- I started babysitting when I was 12 and then at my local YMCA when I was 15 in the summer camp, after school, and child watch programs- with children ranging from 6 months to 11 years in age. When I was 17, I started nannying. My typical duties included driving the kids to after school activities, taking them to the park, meal prep, light housework, and general care. I am very comfortable doing basic chores around the house (e. g. dishwashing, laundry, driving the kids places, and other activities) and I have my own car :) My current availability is evenings and weekends, but I will be moving out of NC at the end of the year!
