Therefore I am up to date on CPR and First Aid. I graduated with my Masters in Occupational Therapy Dec 2023. I am familiar with and comfortable working with children who are developing typically and children who have special needs (Autism, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, etc). I am comfortable with pets, but I do have a cat allergy and wouldn't be able to babysit in homes with cats (which stinks because I like them!).

Hi! My name is Jasmine and I’m active duty Navy. I’ve been around children my entire life. I have 5 younger siblings. Also, I have a ton of baby cousins along with nieces and nephews haha. I absolutely love little ones and have been a sitter part time for the past 4 years (outside of military duty) but have been looking after children for quite some time. I have a daughter Imani who is currently 7 months so sometimes I might have to bring her along with me! I have some free time on my hands outside of work. I also have 2 dogs, Nikita and Bean so I’m comfortable with dogs and really any animal. They’re absolutely the best pets I could ask for. I love being able to have a positive impact on the next generation. It’s so important for children to be surrounded by support besides their family. I love being able to be a source of comfort and reassurance for children while giving their family the reassurance that they need knowing that their child/children will be well taken care of. I started a school during Covid and my pupil was at the top of her class. I taught her good classroom etiquette, math, reading, writing. We have science, nap time, and even movie days on Friday. Being able to see both of our hard work pay off was more enjoyable than anything I could ever imagine. Knowing that I have her the tools to succeed and she chose to use them. I am cpr certified and first aid in infants and adults through Red Cross. I also did a class about proper children emotional regulation, portion control, deescalating emotional situations, and asking proper questions to get the best answer in the shortest amount of time. I am training to be a vet and am currently attending tidewater community college. I am a part time college part time high school. I send updates throughout the day letting you know what times they ate, napped, and if there were any stressful moments for your child so that we can come up with a plan to handle it better next time. I do light house cleaning while your child is sleeping( taking care of dishes, wiping off counters, sweeping and mopping, taking out the trash, and other things. If you give me an inventory layout I can make you grocery lists as well.

While I was away at college, I decided to become a babysitter to still be able to earn some money. I quickly fell in love working with kids and was lucky enough to work with two amazing families.
