My name is Jordan, I am 22 years old. I have 6 years of experience of babysitting and taking care of children. I have taught and cared for children at Crossroads Community Church. I worked at Great Bridge Methodist Church in 2019 in their nursery with children ages ranging from infant to three. In 2020 I worked Kids Club at One Life Fitness caring for kids ages three to middle school. I have babysat for several families where the amount of children range from 2-4 and their ages ranged from two to 12. I have also been a part of a summer organization called Camp Applause, I was responsible to teach the children at the camp and make sure they were in good hands while with us. They ranged from third grade to eighth graders. I worked at Primrose schools from June 2021- April 2023. I started working with infants Read more in 2021-2022 and moved to toddlers at the end of 2022 to April of 2023. My responsibilities included, care of 6 weeks to one year, keeping children clean by hourly checking their diapers, insuring the child is well taken care of and clean and when the time comes feeding children the appropriate foods for their age. I insured that we developed fine and gross motor skills correlating to their ages and developmental abilities. During this time I was a closer, meaning I have cleaning experience from this job and my last one as well. Recently in December 2022 I moved up to the toddler classrooms. The responsibilities changed for their difference ages. We teach curriculum and go deeper into lessons for them to get the best learning. They eat three meals, I have prepared already made food for 8-10 toddlers at once and I make sure they are feed a good amount and that they are clean after. I am very vigilant at noticing my surrounding and making sure children are cared for at all times. I am currently working as a substitute for Chesapeake Schools. I work with preschool- fifth grade. My duties include classroom management, child safety, and I have had experience in SPED classrooms. I am CPR and first aid certified. I have my associates in science with a major in teacher preparation Pre-k through 8th grade.
