Why do you love being a sitter? I truly enjoy caring for children and supporting families. Being a mama of 6 including a set of twins, grandma of 1 and a doula allows me to create a safe, calm, and nurturing environment where children feel seen, heard, and cared for. I love helping kids learn, play, and grow while giving parents peace of mind knowing their children are in capable and loving hands. What experience do you have? I have over 20 years of hands-on experience as a stay-at-home parent and homeschool teacher. During that time, I’ve cared for children of various ages, managed daily routines, assisted with learning activities, meals, and bedtime, and handled the many unexpected moments that come with childcare. I also have experience supporting families through organization, communication, and consistency. What skills and training do you have? I bring strong childcare, organization, and communication skills. I’m patient, attentive, dependable, and very comfortable maintaining structure while being flexible to a child’s needs. My background includes homeschooling, and household management, which means I’m detail-oriented, trustworthy, and great at following family guidelines. I prioritize safety, respect family values, and always aim to create a positive, nurturing experience for every child.

Where do I even begin?! First off, Giah is SUCH a sweet & selfless woman. Her kindness alone will make you feel extremely comfortable with her. Even though we live in two different states, she was always available day or night for me, my husband and our baby. It had been 5 years since my last pregnancy, so I had forgotten a lot of little things when it came to pregnancy and childbirth. She is also the first doula Ive ever had. We had all intentions on having a home birth, or at least doing a majority of my labor at home, then making our way to the hospital. But circumstances changed and I had a scheduled c-section instead. BUT Giah was there for us every step of the way. With any concerns or questions I had, she always had an answer or reassurance. I will recommend Giah to anyone looking for a doula. She isn't just someone I had as a doula, but she has become family to us.

I’m 20 years old, originally from Massachusetts but have been living in NC for 11 years. I have a big family and am an aunt of 4 nieces and 4 nephews so a lot of my experience has been with watching them. I’ve babysat many times for family friends and had a nanny job for 3 kids previously. I’m great with all ages, I can change diapers, make snacks, I have my own car and I’m CPR certified

I’ve spent several years babysitting children from newborn to age 10, and I also have experience supporting children with special needs. I’m currently in my third year working in the mental and behavioral health field with youth ages 5–17, which has strengthened my ability to understand children’s emotions, communicate effectively, and create a safe, supportive environment. Hello! My name is Jeydi, and I currently work as a Medical Assistant in a chronic pain clinic. I am taking gap years while saving for PA school, where I hope to pursue a career in pediatrics. Caring for children has always been a big part of my life. I grew up helping care for my four younger siblings and now enjoy spending time with my two young nephews. During my time at UNC, I regularly babysat for families while completing my undergraduate studies. I also have professional experience working with children with autism as a Registered Behavioral Technician, where I learned the importance of patience, communication, and creating a supportive environment tailored to each child's needs. I love keeping children engaged through fun, age-appropriate activities while ensuring they feel safe, supported, and cared for. I am responsible, dependable, and fluent in both English and Spanish, which allows me to connect with families from diverse backgrounds. I look forward to providing your family with reliable and compassionate care!

I love being a sitter because it gives me the opportunity to provide comfort, safety, and genuine care to those who need it most. Whether I’m supporting children, pets, or individuals who need extra assistance, I enjoy creating a positive, calm environment where they feel secure and valued. Building trust and forming meaningful connections is incredibly rewarding, and I take pride in being someone others can rely on. I have nearly five years of experience working in a childcare facility, where I’ve cared for children of various ages and supported their daily routines in a structured, nurturing environment. In addition to supervising and engaging with children, I’ve handled responsibilities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and maintaining safe, organized spaces. My background has helped me develop patience, adaptability, and strong attention to individual needs. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My education gives me a deeper understanding of behavior, emotional development, and effective communication. I am also First Aid and CPR certified, ensuring I’m prepared to respond quickly and responsibly in case of emergencies.

I have had the privilege of caring for children from birth through age 18 across a variety of settings. During my teenage years, I worked as a summer camp counselor, where I developed the skills necessary to keep children engaged while ensuring their safety. Throughout college, I worked in home settings with children on the autism spectrum, an experience that strengthened my ability to adapt my approach to meet each child’s individual needs. Most recently, I had the opportunity to launch and manage a summer day camp serving approximately 50 children each week through a local YMCA. This role only furthered my dedication to providing high-quality care in which each child can explore the world while in a safe and supportive environment.

Hi! I'm Hayley! I'm a nursing student at the University of Kentucky and have spent the last 5+ years working with kids through summer camps, babysitting, and other childcare opportunities. I absolutely love being around kids and helping them have fun while making sure they're safe and cared for. I'm CPR, AED, and First Aid certified, and I also have CNA training, so safety is always a top priority for me. I have experience with children of all ages and am comfortable keeping up with energetic kids, helping with homework, playing games, doing crafts, and handling bedtime routines. I have reliable transportation and my own car, making it easy for me to get where I need to be and help with pickups or drop-offs if needed. I'd describe myself as responsible, patient, easygoing, and dependable. My goal is always to create a fun, safe, and positive environment where both kids and parents feel comfortable. I'd love to connect and see if I'd be a good fit for your family! References available upon request.
