I've always loved working with kids- I started babysitting when I was 12 and started working at my local YMCA when I was 15 in the summer camp, after school, and child watch programs with children ranging from 6 months to 11 years in age. Additionally, I switched to nannying when I was 17. My typical duties included driving the kids to after school activities, taking them to the park, meal prep, light housework, and general care. I am very comfortable doing basic chores around the house (e. g. dishwashing, laundry, driving the kids places, and other activities) and I have my own car :) I'm also CPR and first aid certified! I've been enjoying child care full time for the last 14 years. During this time I have cared for children ranging in age from 6 weeks-14 years old. I am originally from Hoboken NJ, I spent middle school and high school years in Seattle WA and then moved to Asheville to be closer to relatives and now I currently live in Raleigh, NC. I spent 2 years in Buffalo NY from 2022 to 2024 but moved back to Raleigh in October of 2024 because it was too snowy up there so I came back to NC. Since 2018, I have made childcare my full career and it is the best work I've ever done. My favorite ages to work with are 3 months old to 3 years old. Making childcare my career has been a huge dream of mine and it has taken a lot of work to make it possible but I enjoy it now as much as I did when I first started nannying.
