Hi! My name is Daphny Wilches. I just graduated from the University of Florida in May 2025 with a degree in Business Administration. I’ve been working with kids for 8 years now, and childcare has always been something I’ve been genuinely passionate about. I’ve had the chance to work with all different age groups, and every experience has taught me something new. When I was 16, I was hired by the YMCA where I worked in the childcare center, refereed sports, and lifeguarded. Since then, I’ve worked mostly with toddlers and school-aged kids, but I truly enjoy being around children of all ages. I’m background checked, have been trained in CPR and First Aid, and some of the qualities people often use to describe me are: responsible, patient, active, flexible, punctual, and trustworthy. I’m also bilingual (fluent in Spanish), which has been a big help when working with diverse families. Outside of childcare, I love staying active! I’ve played basketball, tennis, flag football, and a bit of soccer. I also grew up around music and played both piano and clarinet. I try to bring those same interests into the care I provide, whether it’s getting outside to play or doing something creative indoors.
