Hello! My name is Allison, and I’m a recent college graduate looking for part-time child care work. Through my undergraduate experience studying education and anthropology, I developed a deep appreciation for connection and communication with all people- especially kids! As a part of my degree program, I have completed significant coursework in human development, with a focus on effective learning environments and holistic education. Outside of the classroom, I have worked as a substitute teacher in both New Hampshire and Connecticut, delivering lesson plans and filling in for absent teachers/educational professionals across the school day. For the past 5 years, I have worked at a summer camp in Amherst, NH, moving into a supervisory position in 2024. In addition to running daily camp activities through the summer, my role includes managing a staff of 6 full-time counselors, providing behavioral management support/redirection, and coordinating field trips to many exciting places across the state. As an environmental-education facility, I have also assisted in teaching lessons to school groups, as well as hosting site events and workshops. Through my work, I have maintained an active CPR, AED, and FirstAid certification. In my spare time, I love being outside and interacting with the natural world and all that it has to offer. I have worked in sustainability for the past several years, focusing on implementing educational programming for PK-aged students about the environment. I love running, hiking, climbing, and a plethora of additional activities that allow me to experience the incredible natural world. I have found joy in introducing these activities and encouraging a sustained interest in being outside with kids of all ages. In addition to outdoor activity, I am a craft/art enthusiast and am always exploring new creative hobbies to pursue and integrate into my teaching. I also enjoy reading, cooking, drawing, and crocheting! My child-care philosophy centers around getting to know the family that I’m working with in a meaningful way, and catering my interests to those of the children that I’m working with. Hi there!, my name is Loraine but I go by Lora, I am 22 years old African- American. Why I love being a sitter is because I’m great with kids and I love to help others since the day I was able to walk! I’ve babysat my older sisters 2 kids the daughter was from age 2-6 and the son from 3-8 and then my cousin who’s diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy for only 2-3 years. I’ve been an Licensed Nursing Assistant for 3 years now the places I’ve worked at are all in Peterborough New Hampshire such as; Pheasant Wood Nursing Home from February 2022 to April 2024, Monadnock Community Hospital from April 2025 to August 2025 and as a Dietary Aide from May 2024 to May 2025 and now currently at Summerhill Assisted Living! I also enjoy caring for animals! I love to stay active whether that’s going for runs or just exercising over all! My dream and goals in life is to become a Registered Nurse. After high school my intentions were to take one or two year gap, before I thought about school, but my plans changed so now I’m not currently enrolled at the moment. How I am using and spending my time is by educating myself with more fundamental structures by being an LPN , and then hopefully getting masters as an RN.
