Hi families! My name is Mikaela and I'm interested in regular babysitting or nannying positions. I just graduated from University of Colorado Boulder with a bachelors in psychology and sociology and am now moving to Philadelphia. I have held many childcare positions since I was 12 and have cared for children of all ages. I have experience with meal preparation, driving kids to/from activities, homework help, swimming supervision, etc. I also have years of experience caring for a 7 year old with nonverbal autism. I love helping kids learn and grow and I am passionate about child-led learning. I find it so incredible how kids learn so much through simple, language-guided, open-ended play. I have lots of developmentally-appropriate craft and game ideas for kids of all ages :)
