I am a 2023 graduate from Rutgers School of Engineering where I studied biomedical engineering. I was raised in an African home where kids were always running around and as the oldest it was my duty to take care of them, even from a young age. Working with kids has always come naturally to me and child development has always been an interest of mine. I am looking for a long term position with consistent hours (I am okay with a flexible schedule). I have been on Sitter City since 2020 and have worked in many different kinds of families. I have experience working with infants, toddlers, as well as children K-12 at a total of 5 long term positions. I have worked with children with learning disabilities and families with multiple children (up to 3). I have also worked as an art teacher at my local gallery for classes of up to 20 students ages 5-13. My services include the following: - Cooking (simple meal prep to full meals) - Cleaning (light clean up, organization, laundry) - Assisting with homework afterschool - Engaging in fun activities (arts & crafts, sports, music) - Driving (school pickup / driving to and from activities) - Early childhood development (reading, potty training, tummy time, etc) - Infant care (changing diapers, making/feeding bottle, burping, etc.) I am comfortable with pets (I have a 5 year old pomsky at home) and I have my own car ( a 2021 Nissan Sentra with full safety features). I am a non smoked, vaccinated & boosted for COVID-19, and I am CPR certified and trained in First Aid. Hi! I am looking to get back into babysitting to help support myself through Physician Assistant School at Hofstra University. While studying Molecular Biology at Colgate University for undergrad, I also led a club offering after school care/activities for 4th and 5th graders at the local school. After graduating in 2022, I began working as a medical assistant at pediatric office, where I gained experience treating children for the last year.
