I have an amazing 37-year-old daughter who has an Australian Shepherd that I’ve dog sat for 7 years. Prior to that, I dog sat her Pit Bull/Doberman Pincher for 12 years. In addition, I have an intelligent and athletic 29-year-old son. My children represent to me all that is good in the world and are my two true loves. They have taught me a lot about myself and life. I am a better person because of them and admire them so. If you were to ask my friends and family what characteristics I possess, I think that they would tell you traits like: friendly, outgoing, sociable, genuine, sincere, honest, reliable, responsible, trustworthy, caring, kind, humble, generous, compassionate, and empathetic. I also try to make a positive difference in someone's life whenever possible. Some of the activities I love doing with children are reading to/with them, playing pretend, playing with their toys inside and/or outside, doing puzzles, going for walks, coloring/painting, writing/telling stories together, etc. I am available Tuesdays and Thursdays starting noon (preferably) until 5:00 p.m. (all hours are flexible). I’m a current student at SUNY Geneseo majoring in Childhood Education, with experience caring for children in many different settings. Growing up in a foster family gave me the opportunity to help with kids of all ages, and I’ve regularly babysat my younger cousins. Through Geneseo, I’ve completed school placements working with elementary students, and I also have experience substitute teaching and volunteering at church with children. I’m CPR and First Aid certified. Families can count on me to be responsible, patient, and caring. I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities, ages, and pets.

I'm a positive and outgoing person who adores kids. This would be my first time doing professional babysitting, but I do have experience taking care of my two younger brothers for many years. I have basic knowledge of first aid at the very least, and willing to help kids with anything they'd need like homework, chores, or other basic necessities. I love to play games and I'm a generally creative person, so I hope that I can help out parents who also need an extra hand. I do the best with lists detailing what you expect/need to help care for kids, but I'm fine without as well.
