Growing up in this family structure led me into a natural care-giving path that I've been on for all of my adult life alongside my professional acting career. Since moving to New York City in 2010, I have worked for many different families. Some for one-night, some for two years. My experience ranges from 3 weeks to 13 years old. In my view, my job as a child care provider is to keep children safe and act as a team-mate alongside their grown-ups to provide loving care and support to their little ones. I've not had an opportunity to have kids and I love them! This is a way for me to enjoy that and help out at the same time. I'm a very dependable person, with a B.S. in Communications and Public Relations, as well as a Certificate of Photography. I'm also a Yoga Therapist and teacher and have had a children's Yoga Ed certification since 2009. I am looking for a full-time summer position. I can start end of June. I live in Carmel, NY but am willing to travel. I have my own car, as well. I'm 26 years old and graduated from graduate school for elementary education (K-6). I went to Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT for undergrad and grad school. I received my Master's Degree for Elementary Education. I interned and student taught in Darien, CT. I taught in Kindergarten and absolutely loved it. I currently teach at an elementary school in Mahopac.  I've been working with children ever since I was 13, whether it was babysitting or working at a day camp. Hello my name is Flor, I currently work as an infant teacher in a daycare and have been working there for over a year. I also have experience being a toddler teachers assistant. My typical day at work consists of keeping the babies on a good feeding and sleeping schedule. But also making sure they’re developmentally progressing. I’m currently in school as a psychology major and plan on becoming and pediatric OT therapist I like working with kids because I like to be part of their development. I have worked with infants to children thirteen years old. I was also a camp counselor at Camp Kiwi, for several years. I have worked with children with Autism, and children who have mental health issues at Four Winds Hospital. The mental disorders were depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and schizophrenia.
