Hi! Over the years, I have developed a strong passion for working with children. For 7 years, I was a volunteer baton twirling coach; teaching girls ages 6-18 how to twirl and eventually bringing them to local and state competitions to compete. For three years I was employed as a Teaching Assistant in an Early Childhood Center, working with children nine months to five years of age. I have also worked in a therapeutic school, where I received ABA therapy training. Along with this, I have been babysitting since 2016 with children ages five months to thirteen years old. All of these experiences, along with tutoring, camp counseling and working in a research lab studying child language disorders, have helped to show me my love of working with children; leading me to pursuing a career as a Speech Language Pathologist. I just received my masters and am currently completing my clinical fellowship.

I’m the extra hands every parent sometimes needs! I am a full time nanny for 1 family and have occasional clients for jobs here and there! Hi, I'm Peter! I am a father to a wonderful toddler, a caregiver for my adult disabled brother-in-law and a teacher with over ten years of experience between Preschool, Kindergarten and First Grade. I am CPR and AED certified and also certified to teach grades 1-6 in New York. As a teacher and a father, I believe in the power of learning through play. Whether it's playing make-believe, making art or running/crawling around outside, there are opportunities for learning in everything a child does. I also believe in explicit teaching of social emotional skills. Learning to identify and regulate emotions from a young age builds the foundation for healthy relationships, effective communication and lifelong emotional well-being. I am also well versed in the little things that parents and caregivers do on a daily basis, such as changing diapers, preparing meals, establishing sleep routines, cleaning up and juggling multiple tasks. My daughter is headed to UPK this fall and so I have availability from approximately 9:00-3:00 (depending on the length of the drive) Monday through Friday. Hello! My name is Karissa. I recently completed my Master’s degree in Cancer Sciences and conducted research at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. Prior to that, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology from Adelphi University. I’ve been babysitting for over seven years and truly enjoy spending time with children and pets. My long-term goal is to become a pediatric dentist, and I’ve always loved creating fun, engaging environments for the kids I care for. I’ve regularly babysat for several families and am comfortable handling bedtime routines, homework help, and coming up with fun activities like arts and crafts. I am cpr certified MAT trained and have a lot of experience with children with disabilities and special help needs under the age of one. The babies in my current class are 6 weeks to 12 months old. The youngest child I cared for as a nanny was 2 weeks old. I have been working with kids for almost 10 years. I was previously a BT for autistic kids and have a bachelors degree in child psychology and art therapy. I am getting my masters in special education and social work. I love animals and have no problem being around them.
