Linda was awesome! She watched my 2 boys (22 months and 5 y/o) for the majority of the day and evening while my husband and I attended a wedding in downtown Buffalo. She was great with communication, we were able to FaceTime ahead of the wedding so my older son could meet her and be comfortable and the day of she sent me message to keep my updated on how they were doing. I would highly recommend Linda! If we are even in Buffalo in the future and need a babysitter we would definitely use her again!

I hired Taylor to watch my 4 girls (ages 5,8,11,12) while we were traveling into town for my sisters wedding. We are not from Buffalo and I was very nervous because I couldn’t meet her before the wedding. The kids immediately felt comfortable with her and the entire night went smoothly. My kids have some challenging behaviors at times and cognitive and social emotional delays and Taylor was perfect for the job especially with her work experience. I 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!

My name is Courtney, but you can call me Ella. I’ve been doing childcare my whole life, unpaid childcare from age 6-12 with my younger siblings, paid childcare through family, friends, and neighbors from age 13-19, and experience working in daycare settings and as a nanny. I also hold a bachelors degree in criminal justice. I love being a sitter because it gives me the chance to have an impact on the growth and development of these tiny people, and to impact their knowledge and learning as well, and allows me to see the world through a child’s eyes again. I’m very good with kids, I always have been! Playing make believe, learning about new things and creating new experiences, and reading stories are some of my favorite things to do with the kiddos I work with. I love to teach the kids about nature and the way the world works too! I can provide references upon request.

Hello! My name is Keira I am 20 years old and am currently a university student finishing up freshman year. I have been babysitting for quite some time but have been doing it more seriously for two years. I took a training program a few years back through the YMCA program where I learned CPR and other first aid training. I love kids and have worked with a wide range of ages the youngest being four months and the oldest being 14 years old. Last year I was also an assistant coach for a youth hockey team. Not only do I hope to help you look after your child but also assist you around the home where needed. I tend to follow the parents lead when it comes to communication, house rules, and kinds of activities to do with the child. I am a friendly outgoing person who hopes to help you and your child.

Hi! I’m a caring, dependable, and patient babysitter and nanny who loves working with children. I have hands-on caregiving experience from taking care of my grandmother, where I helped with cooking, cleaning, bathing, keeping her company, and providing entertainment. This experience taught me how to be patient, attentive, responsible, and compassionate when caring for someone else. I enjoy keeping children engaged through age-appropriate activities, games, reading, crafts, and play while making sure they are safe and comfortable. I’m also happy to help with meals, light tidying, routines, and other childcare needs. I understand how important it is for parents to have someone they can trust, and I always strive to provide a safe, caring, and positive environment for every child in my care.

I love being a sitter because kids are so positive, and they bring so much light to each day, which is so meaningful to me. I understand how difficult it can be for parents to leave their kids for work or any other reason, and being someone who can help out in those moments is extremely fulfilling. Playing, reading stories, or chatting about the weather can all be so entertaining with kids and can be so crucial to their development. With babysitting, children get more one-on-one attention, as opposed to a daycare or camp, which can also benefit them. I babysat my nephew from when he was three years old to nine years old, which is six years ago to today. We have built such a meaningful connection because of it. I taught at a dance studio for a year, with kids from ages three to eighteen, and I have volunteered with kids a couple of times. I have developed a lot of patience, communication, and problem-solving skills through these experiences. I am also First Aid and CPR certified through the National CPR Foundation and American Red Cross. This summer, I have been privileged enough to serve in Explore & More's summer camp through the AmeriCorps program. I have never looked forward to going into work more than I have this summer. I am currently a college student, away from home, so my availability goes from 0 to 100 within a day. I won't be available until the end of December, but when I am home, I will be available 100% of the time.
