Hello parents, my name is Meghann. I have been working in childcare for a year and a half now. My first job as a nanny was with a big family of four children aged 4 months old, 3, 5, and 10 years old. After that, I moved on to work at a two daycare the first daycare i work at was working with in infants and toddler but I was bouncing around to preschool whenever they need with the second daycare i work at is at home daycare i work with the same group of kids with the previous of daycare i work. Other than that I do activities including arts and crafts, outdoor play, music and movement, story time, and structured learning activities like puzzles, memory match games, and building blocks. I also do have CPR and first aid certification that wouldn't expire until 2027 and some early childhood education and training programs. In my job people would ask me what interests me working with children. It's because working with children can be incredibly rewarding, as it involves fostering growth, sparking creativity, and building meaningful relationships, all while making a positive impact on young lives. Hi my name is Marissa Mapes. I started child care when I was about 15 years old, I'll be 20 this year. I started off babysitting for family when my cousin had her two boys. I helped out as much as she needed me. Then I started babysitting neighbors animals and then moved and started child babysitting. She has special needs and soon started school. When I graduated highschool. That next school year I started college and also babysitting in the mornings for 5 kids ages 5-13. Putting them on the bus, making sure they ate and had lunch.
