Hello! My name is Summer, and I recently graduated from the University of Cincinnati with an Associate of Science : Elementary Education. For my senior year I will be returning to school at Northern Kentucky University to finish working toward my bachelor’s degree with the goal of becoming an elementary school teacher. Over the years, I have babysat and nannied for many families with children ranging from newborns to 13 years old. I have experienced working a variety of schedules and am flexible and open to adapting to schedules I may not have worked before. I am currently living and working on Mackinac Island through the end of October, so I will not be available for full-time work until then . Once I return, I am hoping to find a position with a family looking for dependable and flexible childcare support. In addition to babysitting and nannying, I also have classroom experience through working as a paraprofessional, assistant teacher, student observer, and student aide in a variety of academic settings. These experiences have helped me become familiar with the scholastic, emotional, mental, and developmental needs of the age groups I work with.
