Hello! Thanking you for reading my bio. My name is Brooke, and I am 21 years old. My whole 21 years, I have grown up in Columbus, OH. I am a Sophomore in College working on my Bachelors in Science in Nursing at the University of Dayton. When I was younger, I had a fantastic babysitter, which led me to carry her loving, thoughtful influence into my work. Previously I have worked with various ages from 6 months-14 years old. I am experienced with working with more than one kid at a time. I am also CPR and First-Aid Certified since I am also a lifeguard when I am not babysitting. I also have a swim instructor certification and nursing aide (STNA). Being a middle child growing up between two boys, I am always outside playing sports and hide and seek. I grew up playing sports which include soccer, basketball, and gymnastics, which all come in handy when playing outside with kids. I grew up in a young and big family with a lot of kids all ages and have 3 smaller siblings myself, so naturally I just love being around kids and taking care of them. I'm a former Au pair and have worked for Cultural Care Au pair for 1,5 years in Westchester, NY and Dayton, OH. As a reference, here are some more babysitter jobs I had in the past: - Family with three boys of the ages of 7, 11 and 15 - My first host family had three kids. The two boys were 3 and 10 and the girl was 8 years old - My second host family was a single Dad working for the Airforce with a 6 year old son and a 13 year old daughter - Single Mom with a 2 year old daughter - Family with premature born 1 year old twin boys (Experience with tube feeding) - Single Dad with three daughters of the ages of 10,12 and 16 and a 7 years old son. The 16 year old daughter had Autism. - Family with a 2,5 year old boy and 1 year old daughter. Started there when the boy was only 7 months old and was there the entire time the Mom was pregnant with the second child. I helped her the whole first year with her newborn baby girl, after that both kids started daycare. - Family with four boys of the ages of 1, 3, 5 and 7. (I still help them occasionally!) I also want to mention that my native language is German, so if you would like I'm able to teach the child/children new language skills as well.
