My last family involved 4 children between ages of newborn to 5 years old. I do have a child of my own who is about to be one years old! I have worked as a nurse's aide at a nursing home for almost two years, and I have medical experience from that and my classes, if the need arises. I love to get to know kids and find ways to bring out their creativity! Art projects, music, and getting into nature are some of my favorite things to do with young kids. I would rather not care for infants as I do not have adequate experience, but I am open to working with any other age, as well as with animals. Hello, my name is Alleisha and I am a college student at The Ohio State University studying medical laboratory science. I am BLS (cpr) certified through OSU American Red Cross. I am a 2nd degree senior black belt and was a taekwondo instructor for ages 5-12 for 7 years. I have lead classes of 5-15 students at a time. I love to cook, play and draw. I am the oldest of two with a 10 year age gap.

I’ve always loved kids ever since my sister had her first when I was about 4 years old. She had her 2nd when I was 8. I would always go over there and help her with the kids as I was more mature for my age. Along with that I had the pleasure of sitting for a one year old in 2025 for a few months. Besides kids I knew I always wanted to be in healthcare so I am in college currently for nursing and have obtained my STNA, CPR/first aide, and other certifications. With my STNA I worked in a nursing home for approximately 6 months. With all of that I can say I can confidently cook, clean, and provide a safe environment for anyone weather it’s kids or adults.

I am an enthusiastic sitter and first-year student at Ohio Wesleyan University, where I am studying neuroscience on a pre-med track.
