One of the most enriching parts of my education has been studying abroad in Finland, where I had the opportunity to intern in early childhood education centers (ECEC) and assist as a teaching student in local schools. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for different educational approaches and helped me develop a flexible, child-centered style. I’ve also worked in a U.S. elementary school aftercare program, which taught me how to balance fun with structure while meeting the diverse needs of school-age children. I’m quite a spoiler when it comes to going to get ice cream or going to the park (turkey mountain, lafortune, chandler, safari joes, etc) so if any of that isn’t okay I completely understand!
