I have spent a year as a private nanny for a 3 month baby girl and greatly enjoyed getting close with the family and my most recent work this year being with a 12 month old baby girl and nanny for a 4 year old boy! As well as regular babysitting for families in need of extra care. My main excitement when working with children is watching developmental milestone and creating enriching activities to support their learning needs. I am a current student at UO studying elementary education. I come from a family of ten kids being the third oldest I have grown up helping out. I am looking for a nannying job in hopes to find something flexible while going to school that I will also enjoy doing on a weekly basis.

I have about one year experience nannying for a family with two kids ages 4 and 7, as well as occasional babysitting for kids ages 2-6, and periodic childcare in a church context. In my nannying experience I stayed at the family’s home with the four-year-old during the day and then did school pickup and after-school activities. We also took trips to local parks and the library, as well as walking and bike-riding in their neighborhood. I have a Bachelor of Science, as well as music skills in piano and flute. I am a strong writer and editor, and I am happy to help with homework as needed. I have personal and family experience with chronic illness and neurodivergence and feel comfortable accommodating related needs.

I just moved to Eugene and I used to babysat all my neighbors kids back in my hometown for years.
