Hi there! I am Abby (she/her). I graduated from the University of Washington in June 2024. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education, Communities, and Organizations with Disability Studies and American Indian Studies minors. I have been caring for children for 6 years as a babysitter and as the oldest sibling, as well as supervising children in summer camp and school settings. My babysitting experience ranges in ages from infant to twelve. I recently cared for a one year old for six months, starting when she was only six months herself - this included diaper changes, feedings, putting her down for naps, and taking her on adventures to Kids Club, swimming, and free events at the local library. I have also babysat toddlers and assisted them with potty training. I also babysit families with siblings ranging in ages of 2-4 and 6-10. I truly love working with kids, and I approach each child as an individual who I get to help grow and teach. With each family I understand cleaning is not expected but light housework such as dishes, vacuuming, and tidying up the toy room is no problem for me! I have experience babysitting children with ASD and ADHD. I have found success in building relationships with these children through discussing triggers, what the child enjoys, and boundaries with parents before we start working together. I am also passionate about working with children with disabilities in the school setting. I am currently a substitute, often filling in as a paraprofessional. From September 2023 to May 2024 I held an internship as a substitute paraprofessional in the Seattle Public School system, regularly working at Concord International Elementary School. Nothing makes me happier than reading, doing crafts, playing games/puzzles and being outside! My number one focus is keeping the children happy but most importantly safe. I have my CPR certification and can run a background check upon request. I'm available on weekdays and flexible to work weekends/date nights. I can provide references upon request. Schooling for Pediatrics oncology and development 5 years left! I have an unreasonable about of extra crafts and will play hide and seek 45 times till we forget what game it might be and tap tag your it!! But here’s the thing I Have rules yeah I know Who am I to bring rules into your home but but here me out I’m just not comfortable with certain things. Everyone has different parenting styles and it’s for a good reason we need different kind of adults were blue printing these little hearts. 1. I will not spank tap or grab The only time I could possibly see a grab being acceptable is it an immediate safety situation. (walk into a street with a car, anything hot ect… you get the point) 2. Timeouts Basic time to reflect on the situation is greatly needed it was just a little bit of communication things can get resolved really quickly! Kids have voices and if something I am or they are doing is provoking emotion I want to here it and I don’t feel comfortable closing a physical door for growth. 3. T.V/movies Tons of shows and movies can teach us a lot but five hours of sitting. Then expecting them to go lay down for a nap or bed feels unfair and For us to to believe that scenario will work out in our favor is it set up for failure for the kiddos

I received my certification as an early childhood education specialist in the States of Iowa and Kansas. I was also a licensed home daycare provider in Kansas. I would like to find a family with a young child/ren in need of a loving, nurturing nanny. Hello! I absolutely love children of all ages. In high school and college, I baby sat children from a few weeks old to 12 years. I have worked with a lot of multiple-children families and am comfortable with multi-tasking.     I love active play as well as doing art projects and baking with the children that I am caring for. I don’t believe that you are paying me to watch your children watch television, so I try to make sure we are always doing some sort of activity. I have tutored children in many subjects and if your kids are school-aged, their homework is a priority of mine.   I speak Spanish at a conversational level and am always up for teaching kids some basic Spanish while I am with them. I also can sign ASL.   If you need help with any housework (such as laundry or prep-cooking, etc.), I would love to assist with that while the children are sleeping or engaged in another project.    I look forward to meeting your family!

Hi! I'm Danika, I'm 24 years old and I love working with kids! i have a 2 year old baby girl at home, but i'm no stranger to childcare! There is a chance i will have to bring my daughter along, due to childcare issues but she's super well behaved & loves to play! I had a younger sibling that I grew up watching and taking care of. I am 23 years old and I volunteer at my church with a lot of children's ministries.
